Greenwood, who’s the second?
So do a significant proportion of our female fan base!Still miss Roberto
Just speaking personally here. Whilst RDZ did take us to our highest league position he pretty much gave up after Rome and when he knew the club wasn’t going to break their model and buy the players he wanted. He also criticized the players and the owner and made everything about him. This lack of professionalism, imho, cost us league places and the millions which go with this. No wonder Bloom and him parted way. Whilst I’m grateful for the European trips, his tenure left a sour taste. He hasn’t done himself any favours in Marseille either.Amazing the vitriol on here about the only manager in BHAFC history ever to deliver those incredible moments.
Yes he's a flawed individual. To misquote the bible: He who's not got a bit of a dick tendancies, throw the first post.
Almost as bad as the anti-Potter rhetoric.
Both had their good points and both were not perfect. Hughton after Hyypia absolute dross was brilliant. Potter after CH relegation fodder football, was a revelation. RDZ after Potter toothless attacks was phenomenal.
I loved them all at their times.
Hasn’t been on here since the 27th of October apparently. And in related Potter news, whatever happened to 'Swanny'? Did the pitchfork mob drive him off here again for being a fascist/communist/Buddhist/Mormon/Cult of Davidian member/dope smoker/other?
He's been posting on here as @Han Solo . He also has a very funny BHA blog. Haven't seen him for a couple of weeks but he's a very busy man.And in related Potter news, whatever happened to 'Swanny'? I would have said the two extremes were Hughton and RDZ, with Potter in the middle - referring of course to our playing style. Character wise you’re probably bang on. Roberto being the best firework in the box - loud, illuminating, spectacular and then fizzles out.Just contrasting the two reactions.
De Zerbi is box office. Graham is someone who works in a box office.
It’s a shame RDZ’s got a couple of sex cases playing for him as this would otherwise be tremendous entertainment that would inevitably end with him or their fans spontaneously combusting.
Meanwhile, at Brighton, where it matters, we’ve finally got the balance right after two extremes.
He was the best we have ever had in our history so yes he is a top class coach/manager to say he’s not is just silly. I always remember Declan Rice saying I don’t ever want to feel like that on a football pitch again their patterns of play made it impossible to get near them.Funny. And oh so predictable. Bell end ego maniac.
He’s really not as good as he thinks he is.
Still reads like a drama queen to me. Absolutely no need to repeatedly mention resignation…unless you want drama.

Well aware, H but I thought he'd got into another ding dong as HS more recently, the usual NSC wagons circled again, and the redskin bandit was driven off into the Sverige hillsides/savannah to lick his gunshot wounds. He's been posting on here as @Han Solo . Indeed. But although I appreciate an Italian as much as the next woman, I find young Fab quite a hotty totty too in a Germanic kind of way.So do a significant proportion of our female fan base!
The best year of watching the Albion - ever. 2023 had so many unbelievable matches to savour from January to December. Let’s forget the 2024 January to May bit.He was the best we have ever had in our history so yes he is a top class coach/manager to say he’s not is just silly. He Provided the best football any Albion fan has witnessed young or old.
Whatever views you may have you can’t take away that from him Brighton in the Europa league was incredible.
Before our unprecedented injury pile up we had started last season like we had finished the last no injuries that season and who knows.
Amsterdam? And in related Potter news, whatever happened to 'Swanny'?
I certainly miss the team of the 22-23 season, where we had two of the best centre mids in the Premier League and could go from losing 1-4 at home to a team in a relegation battle to winning 3-0 away at a team challenging for the title. I don't miss the second part of the subsequent season, where his limitations as a coach and manager were exposed somewhat and he seemed to give up trying.Still miss Roberto, never a dull moment.
I still do. Yes his tactics were win or bust, but his unique brand of attacking football kept us all on the edge of our seats.I loved him once.
But he's a Pound Shop Mourinho.
True, it didn’t suit TB & PB although was he wrong? He said to keep the season alive we need 3-4 quality signings in January he got handed the prospect Barco. The best year of watching the Albion - ever. 2023 had so many unbelievable matches to savour from January to December.
