Seeing that interview with the stadium in the background makes me hope that I get the chance to return at some point to watch the Albion there.
It still goes down as my best ever away game. The atmosphere was electric and 100% of the Albion fans were up for it.
It was a hug your neighbour game for both of our goals.

And a beautiful city.
Agree. Although it would be lovely if their fans could learn how to be a tad more welcoming.

I doubt they are losing patience, they were 8th last season, this year they are currently 2nd and have won 4 of the last 6! Looks like he’s doing a brilliant job!
3 points out of 12. Blamed the ref the other week, blamed the fitness of his players (despite 1 game a week) yesterday. Greenwood benched. Their aim was run PSG close and Champions League football.

Anyway don’t take my word for it

Love it!!!

They have spent so much money and are playing like a boring bunch of robots. De zerbi so overrated, just a matter of time before he throws a fit and is gone again.

As an aside, Matt Ryan had a superb game.

Not sure how De Zerbi can legitimately claim his players to be tired when they haven't played in Europe all season.

Theres always a few bed wetters in every fan base (take a section of the Hurzeler comments on here a few weeks back and you would have thought that he was on his way out), but if thats genuinely the feeling amongst the majority of Marseille fans then Im astonished as they must have the most entitled fans in the world! Their squad really isn't that great, certainly not good enough to challenge PSG, and it's still likely that they will qualify champions league.

With the signings they made, they expect to be top 2, hopefully challenging PSG.

PSG has been better than expected so no big deal losing out to them, but a poor finish to the season would still put a lot of pressure on him.

Its a demanding set of fans that unlike some fan bases won't accept silly excuses. Saying they're "tired" when they've played less games than most top teams is not going to land well.

Could easily see him getting another mutual sacking in the summer before heading off to AC Milan.

Daft rotation yesterday. Not surprised RDZ and Marseille fans on the brink of fallout, by all accounts they demand instant success and taking a team from 8th to fighting it out for the Champions League is apparently not good enough. Weird.

So random posters on Twitter now become evidence for an argument? Look, Marseille just lost to a 94th minute goal. What sort of messages do you expect to see? Kneejerkery, which we see even among a relatively sane Brighton fanbase, has always been a feature of supporting a football team. Marseille fans have taken this to a new level with their violent and unpredictable behaviour over the past few years. Under De Zerbi their club has had a tremendous season by recent standards.

More generally, this continued squabble about RDZ and Potter is hugely tedious and pointless. It’s an argument that can never be resolved. It doesn’t even make sense as an argument in the first place. Both were good Albion coaches in different periods of the club’s evolution, and both gave the fans tons of great memories.

But they are a club with a storied history and high expectations, merited by their current ability or not.

Unlike, say, Brighton & Hove Albion who have never won anything of note in our 123 years.

Sometimes football fans can be very emotional, deluded and post very strange things. On an unrelated note:

So what you're saying is gauging fan opinion from a handful of online posts in the immediate aftermath of a dodgy result isn't recommended. Indeed.

Fair enough but that’s the feeling. Wasn’t much/any ‘keep the faith’. They’ve got 3 points from the last 12, 9 games left in the season. Nice are 3 points behind with a game in hand. Pressure is on to achieve champions league football and their fans are getting a bit fed up of his excuses

Yes I can see how the signing of Pierre-Emile Hojberg to marshall their midfield must have sent their expectations through the roof!
