What.....Where did I say anything about fitting into any system I hope the guy is amazing, but it will probably be at least a month, till he is fit and I was mearly pointing out, he is most likely a cheap alternative to Clayton. Let's hope he is better than Clayton, but let's not hold our breath eh, with Burke's track record.
Hopefully he will perform well for us, so we can sell him to meet our FFP target.
It all depends on the whether you rate Clayton or not. Is he a lot better than what we have with a fully fit midfield?
I'm keeping an open mind

I will say one thing, if this Holla can take a corner or a free kick, then he is an improvement on anything we got atm....Then we would just need someone to get on the end of them.

But you're saying this cheap option is a bad thing how would you know when you don't know the player?
We've lacked guile in midfield for a while now, hence lack of goals. Hopefully this lad and Tex might be the answer
I stick got stuck on the old Liverpool system. Liverpool looked more like 4-3-3 to me but I did not see enough of their play.
Player at the point of the diamond has got to be mobile. Or else it is too easy for the opposing defence. Rigidity of the system makes it popular amongst some players.
Really don't like it though, but mostly the shape employed by a wing-back system. a few tweaks and it reverts to a more conventional shape. With hardly any left footers in the side favours a classic 4-3-3 to me. Absence of a good central midfielder counts against 4-3-3.
But Leicester played a classic 4-3-3 at he Amex last season and they got instantly kippered. Every system has its weaknesses and strengths.
PS: I think QPR played a diamond at the Amex and they were easily the better side in midfield. I think this was because they had better players and Oscar Garcia picked the weaknesses of the system eventually after spending most to the match firing blanks. To me that showed the diamond can be defeated by less talented teams.
Thanks for the thumbs down TSB & Rod Marsh. Why so sensitive over a harmless playful comment?
Please try and lighten up a bit and try not to take things too seriously
The negativity seems odd.
Does every other team replace squad players with superstars?
If so who do they replace their superstars with?
Orlandi, Spanish Dave, Bridcutt, Barnes, Andrews & to a lesser extent Hoskins have all left our midfield.
Why get bent out of shape about Holla.
Do people actually believe the club will replace 5 or 6 players with £5,000,000 worth of signings.

Sami has said that he does all his scouting from DVDs, but this sounds as if he hasn't even done that. Okay, the days of Peter Taylor (the elder) driving 300 miles to stand behind the goal in freezing rain and a heavy disguise are long gone, but I wonder if things haven't gone a little too far in the opposite direction ...
Lol...we are crap at corners....i was thinking the chap from Liverpool might help there
