I’ve always felt Solly has looked a better player when playing down the right flank and looks more comfortable putting in crosses from that side. I may be wrong but I think he is naturally a right footed player but CH always liked to play his wingers on the opposite side as it enabled them to cut in. However it’s different with the RWB role as you need them getting down the line and whipping in crosses not cutting in and taking up the space of the attacking 3 players.

But unproven as RWB, Shirley!?

You are so blinkered. It is not a dig at either but considering what both have done for us to let them leave to play regular football as a thank you as I do not see either playing much for us. Kayal will be behind Stephens Propper Gross and Bissouma possibly even Richards and Baluta. Bong will be behind Match., Bernardo so perhaps the most likely to get a look in depending on if we abandon back 3.

Aaah, so you are just being kind to them by suggesting that they drop down a league! I suggest you may get a ‘reaction’ that you may not like if you made that suggestion to either or both of them directly. In the meantime, this ‘blinkered’ poster will stand by what he said previously, and that is that they are both great squad players who contribute well when they are called upon.

In short, I think you are the one who is blinkered when it comes to these two, and just about everything else ‘Albion’ that you post on here for that matter.

It would be nice if we could find a new home, with plenty of game time, for Hemed. Decent player, been a good signing for us, but unlikely to feature at all, IMHO.

I've read Ali J is in Holland with his agent so would add him to that list as well. Connolly too, no?

Connolly out on loan has been o the agenda for a while, I think - but definitely not for sale, or to make room in the squad (he's not in it - too young). If Jahanbakhsh wants to go back to Holland, I wouldn't bust a gut to stop him; we wouldn't re-coup much of our outlay on him though - not great business!

So you don’t think the need for him to rescue his career is a good enough reason to play with hunger and desire ?

Well, if just be amazed if he really managed to do that. A midfield of a top quality Drinkwater alongside Stephens would be excellent and an upgrade, but I just don't buy that we would get that out of drinkwater

Trying to think of an equivalent top tier player who didn't make it after transfer to big 6, came back down and achieved previous heights. Anyone?

First I’ve heard of that. What’s the source? I’d like Maupay & the Moroccan in and Ali out if we had to balance books...

Certainly Hemed.

Hope so too. A few weeks ago when I questioned the logic of giving Hemed another year several posters on here said there would be a queue of Championship clubs lining up to sign him.

Has there been? Is it a silent auction? Needs to be sold not loaned out.
