We signed Mark Wright from MK Dons on the 19th of June 2009 and then sold him to Bristol Rovers on the 1st of September in the same window.

I'm sure we signed and sold a player in the same window back at Withdean?
Mark Wright signed in June 2009 and left in September of the same year. Made 3 appearances apparently although I can't recall them.

Pretty sure we signed him from Stoke on a free in the close season between leaving Gillingham and playing at Withdean, sure he played in friendlies and then we sold him to Hibernian for 100k before the season kicked off. Stand to be corrected though.
The Paul Holsgrove signing and sale happened in the summer of 1998, so would have been in the summer break between the 2 seasons at Gillingham.

Paul 'sicknote' Kitson. Constantly broken, clearly couldn't be arsed.

Remember the sitter he missed at Selhurst in 1985?

I will stand corrected but that could have been the difference between failure and the third prmotion spot?
Ah the Ryan/Hughton game.

I was at that - we bossed the game but I don't remember much else about it. All I remember is the constant trouble. Mind you, you're probably right as Biley was massively underwhelming. All he ever did was those wanky flicks. And he had his fingers inside his long sleeves like the kid who always got picked last for football in PE.
