Isn't there a midday pitch inspection tomorrow ?

Referee would have known there was zero chance of game going ahead when he was eating his Christmas dinner yesterday and looking at the overnight temperature forecast.

Got to Pease Pottage to find out the pitch was ready and playable, Dagenham wanted to play and Poyet refused. Now we've got to face a huge fixture pile up and it all might get abit too much.

Only got to Burgess Hill from Portslade so not too bad. This lack of football is f***ing depressing though

Good. To be Frank it highlights a lit of poor understanding at some of these clubs. It was clear by the depth of the frost last night that games would gave to be called off. Early decisions should be made.

Shame - it's actually a lovely day up here, blue skies and sunshine. Guess we'll have to plan for a wet Tuesday night in 2011.

My thanks to bristolseagull..........got about half way there before hearing the official announcement. Disappointed of course, but at least was fore-warned by bristolseagull about the pitch inspection, so not such a shock.

As for Superphil.........really should spend less time on here criticising supporters and more time on his full time job...cleaning Trevor Hebberds bottom.

Got to Clackett Lane services (M25), before finding out. Met a couple of Southampton fans (nice lads). Sold my ticket for the re-arranged game in car on return journey
