Firstly the UCI would point to that being the end product of cleaner racing, god I hope so.Firstly, how refreshing to see the tours so evenly matched. TdF last year and the Giro this plus the Paris Nice and Romandie have been spectacular to watch. Seconds!
Secondly, I missed the Giro punts. Twas on holiday, innit. Was honestly going to go for Rodriguez but knew far too little despite his age....
Thirdly, along with many others, Wiggo gets my vote for the TdF this year. Stage by stage is going to take some work!
Fourthly, first sportive today. Around the Sussex Downs from Dial Post to Goodwood to Littlehampton and back another route. What a way to break the duck! Stunning!
Finally, do I need a Garmin Edge to allow me the freedom to explore like that? Advice please. I have a 310XT which is the triathlon one.
Cheers all!
If NSC's finest wins it'll be first Grand Tour winner I've 100% believed in, possibly ever. (Except for the one obvious one I've forgotten @ 5:20am)
It's true Pantani (the other one) would have massacred this field, back in the day.
The first rule of Wiggo and Le Tour is don't talk about Le Tour!
There's about 100kms of TTing this year, hopefully we'll be robbed of the sight of a good ish TTer clawing back minutes over 31kms, becasue Ryder will already have done the job.
But image what a specialist can do over 3 times the distance.
Sportive on a Friday?
I posted my Garmin reading for a spin I had in lesser Sussex, and we had a small chat around then.
That was post 1267 on page 64, have we nothing better to do.
Have a look at the info it provides and ask away.
