Sorry chaps t'is a bit more me me me.

A cap has been worn in action.
There's a juniors meeting at a local go-kart track, Jnr stat went for his first ever race.

He'll be sleeping well tonight:-

I didn't know we were supposed to wear them like a blindfold!

With the jnr's being adopted I'm a little over protective about his face in public like this.

He had a great time.
He's a competitive little bugger at the best of times, so even though he was out ridden by all of the others he loved it.
I was surprised how tiny his tiny bike was next to other tiny bikes!!

That's superb SB. Good to hear he had a great time of it.

I've done a brief internet trawl previously for local kids races here but so far no joy :(

This seems a pretty low-key word of mouth operation, I think it might be the last one next Monday.

They did a 7 lap scratch race, three 5 lap handicap races, and a one lap TT.

Jnr did his TT in 59:38, so all told that was quite a distance he did.

Good for him.

It may be tiny, but that's a lovely bike you've got for him there!

We've got his first sportive this weekend.
I'm bracing myself for it to cause a stir.

I go away for 2 weeks and ...

Thanks for the brilliant cap.
Well done on that ride.
Congrats on the new baby.
We lose 3 games.

Sorry for lack of personalisation here but its late and there were lots of pages to catch up. Hope nothing got missed too.

Received my cap in the post yesterday. Is superb.

Will be wearing it on the South Downs Way ride I am doing this weekend, and also on the REMF Ride on September 29th. Thanks Jon!

If only they were all as easy as The Eneco Tour.

8 out of 9 in the top 20, plus points and overall jersey.

True. I'm barely paying any attention and haven't done any transfers yet but I'm still right up there.

Pantani has missed the race and has dented his hopes of a podium for the overall!

And Pantani isn't the only one missing this race. Only 8 of us doing - down another 2 from the paltry 10 doing San Sabastian :( Unless we get fresh blood next season I can see it all fizzling out on here. I'm half minded to give it a miss myself even to be honest. And no, that's not me doing a flounce because I'm last in Eneco and SB has finally found a race he's good at

I'd definitely be keen for purist only league next year.

Albion caps on tour! (Just perched on the saddle.)

Proudly wore the Ride or Fall through the Sierra Nevada.

Roads here are amazing chaps. I thoroughly recommend Vamos Cycling (based in Cadiar) for a trip. They organise trips as well as hiring to individuals.

The climbs are immense, the descending extraordinary and the tarmac as smooth as any you will find.

Great photo, I should have done an 'away' cap.
