Sky to sign Cancellara?!

Hope not, they are too dominant as it is.

They tried before didn't they? Can't see that ever happening to be honest.

My team is so poor, it's scary.

I mucked around with it, while not thinking, ie I've got the wrong Caruso, and so on.
I then never got back to it what will all the fun last night.

Basically Team Stat, is a plane crash, landing on a train crash, as that ploughs through a car crash.

What a gorgeous looking race, country lanes, sunshine, horses in the fields running around as the cyclists go past, lush green countryside, I want to be out on my bike, not stuck at my friggin' desk.....why am I not a professional cyclist....why why why!?!?!? :tantrum:

edit: please no one answer that..........

Opps.

I think Jelle Vanendert may have been caught up in the crash you describe as well :nono:

Sod the edit, I'm going full smug mode on ya. :p

Absolutely beautiful today out on my little outing, especially riding through Float Lane, between Winchelsea & Udimore. Nearly touched 70km down the hill into Guestling too as I felt unusually super confident descending for some odd reason. However, my own little Mur de Huy of Stonestile Lane caught me out big time once again. Very enjoyable ride nonetheless and well worth a day off the annual leave.

Edit: Forgot to add the bit about the two swans coming into land in the field next to me as I rode along Float Lane. Majestic and like a little piece of heaven :)

2, 3, 4, 7. Not too bad for me.

How good was Daniel Moreno! Brilliant finish. Reckon Martin would have had a great chance had he not punctured, amazing he still got in amongst it at the end, great form.

Great finish as always, love this race.

Definitely have 2,3,4,5 and 7. Expecting something from Gilbert and Weening inside the top 20 too, just Caruso and Kreuziger I am not sure about.

Edit seems Caruso was 11, Gilbert 15 and Kreuziger 17. Weening must have gone the wrong way or something, he is not even in the top 60.

1. MORENO FERNANDEZ Daniel
2. HENAO MONTOYA Sergio Luis
3. BETANCUR GOMEZ Carlos Alberto
4. MARTIN Daniel
5. KWIATKOWSKI Michal
6. RODRIGUEZ OLIVER Joaquin
7. VALVERDE Alejandro
8. ANTON Igor
9. MOLLEMA Bauke
10. NOCENTINI Rinaldo
11. CARUSO Gianpaolo
12. SAGAN Peter
13. ULISSI Diego
14. SLAGTER Tom Jelte
15. GILBERT Philippe
16. GALLOPIN Tony
17. KREUZIGER Roman
18. VICHOT Arthur
19. HESJEDAL Ryder
20. MARTENS Paul

Great ride by Martin to get back on like that. Wish I could say the same about Jelle Vandendert. Crap decision for me to go Dutch instead of Martin though.

From the Top Ten: 2,3,7,9.

Blimey!, Pantani done well today. Chapeau :clap2:

Caruso just rubs salt in the wounds for me.

Edit: And Albasini comes in 21st

Did anyone else take great pleasure in seeing Sagan blow up on that final climb!? He is human after all!

Why didn't I ever take more of an interest in cycling before? I feel like I've missed years of this stuff - obsessed now though

Yep, love Sagan but glad for numerous reasons to see him going backwards today. It would set alarm bells ringing if he'd done something amazing today considering the full programme he's had so far. If he's going to race one too many races now though, I'm surprised he didn't dip out of this and race L-B-L instead to be honest.
