This is set for a mouth watering finish with the final 12km lap to go, that last turn is going to sort the men out from the boys!

I didn't see today's winner sticking out a hand when the space was getting tight. Oh no, all blood guts and belief today!

Madiot should show him the video of that finish to educate him. Plus this gives me an excuse to put this up, one of the highlights of last years TdF.

Can one of you fellas trawl the usual sites for highlights.

I don't have a clue what you are talking about and would like to keep it that way, until I press play.

Wasn't it your avatar for a while?

Was about to say no, but I think you may be correct. I did change my avatar after virtually every stage during the TdF, though. Thibaut deserved to be kept there for longer but it is not every year a British rider wins the Tour.

I can't find any highlights yet, I'll post them when I do.

The bit in the commentary where they go "hurdle gurdle gurdle Cavendish. Oh, oh, oh, oh The system did not work". "Not yet". :lolol:

Why was that in English yet everything else in Flemish?

Great stuff, that's a proper work out.

As for speaking Flemish, I didn't until Friday and then Sunday, I speak it like a native, now.

As you said, 'oh oh oh oh bier', how hard can it be.

I laughed at that bit of commentary too. Terpstra & Chavanel taking huge turns there. Chavanel we know is in excellent form but good to see Terpstra back to what he was last season. Another thing that made me laugh was big hugs from Boonen for Cav at the end. The sly old fox.

Edit: Apologies. Just read a report. Seems Boonen did do big pulls from about 7km out.

Did you see the article from a few days ago where they had riders names translated in to English? Some personal favourites from that list:

Gerald Ciolek – Gerald Numpty
Arnaud Démare – Arnaud Accelerate
John Degenkolb – John Swordpiston
Koen de Kort – Koen The Short
Davide Malacarne – David Badmeats
Jurgen Van den Broeck – Jurgen of the Bridge
Steele Von Hoff – Steele of the Farmyard

Gerald Numpty :lolol: It is too good to be true surely?

I've read further down that article to the comments now. Apparently Jurgen Van den Broeck is actually Jurgen of the Trousers,

That

Is

Amazing!

Imagine shouting out "Go the Trousers" it is just too good.
