Horton's halftime iceberg
Blooming Marvellous
These reports are hardly ever right, however if it is, Mount Ventoux here we come with the million or so others from around Europe. Will be also very fitting for Brad as he passes the memorial.
In fairness we know it's going to be a greatest hits package. These reports are hardly ever right, however if it is, Mount Ventoux here we come with the million or so others from around Europe. Will be also very fitting for Brad as he passes the memorial.
The day fast approaches... who's making the trip to Aldi?
10mins, I shall be in there by 9.30am I think, followed by a 30mile lunchtime ride!
1. base layers
2. socks
3. lights
4. winter top
5. merino top (pending inspection)
6. shoe covers
7. arm and leg warmers?? (never had them....maybe an accessory too far...)

Has anyone ever been so excited about shopping at Aldi?
The answer is YES, it was pan-de-f*ck-in-modium in there!
I got out with arm warmers (nice), compression base layers, 2 pairs of socks, 2 sets of little lights and a puncture repair kit. The merino top did look prone to losing it's shape so I gave it a miss....didn't have any of the winter tops they had advertised, so whether they went in the first hour, who knows!
what store did you go in? i'm going to Brighton, BUT have to wait until 4:30! looking to get compression layers, 2 pairs of socks and arm/leg warmers...
Boundary Road in the 'Slade. I got compression layers and the only mens tops they had left were 2 x XL. I'm normally a L, but the XL fits and is still nice and tight for me. The L in the legs compression also fitted well. In the arm warmers, the L/XL came up really big, and although I'm 6' (14st!) I got the S/M which fitted much better. I might go back for leg warmers seeing how nice the arm warmers are.
Having never been in a ALDI before, is all the sale stuff in one place? i'm terrified they'll be gone...
Yes. Basically all the normal groceries etc. are around the outside. Through the centre of the store area are all the sale items, and weird DIY stuff etc. You'll spot the cycling area easy as all the hi-vis jackets are hung up.
To be honest, I think they will refill the stock as they go, so fingers crossed you are ok for later.
sold out, other than 20 pairs of gloves... oh well, amazon it is then.
