Going Large:-

Boonan
Gilbert
Sagan
AVV (Might come out for NSC's finest, for old time sake)
JTL
Tuft (Will come out if Ryder goes in)
+ 3 others.
Couldn't help myself.
NSC's finest is in, I even kept Tuft, and my poorest relation is Tim Duggan.

I went for:

Nordhaug, Polish 'skirmisher', JTL, Nocentini, Kolobnev
. Which left me putting all my star rider eggs in one basket - Gilbert, Boonen, Sagan, Gerrans. I would have preferred covering more bases with AVV in for either Boonen or Gerrans, but budget wouldn't allow.

Cav doing his turn at the front and Hugh Porter coming out with all sorts of crap as per usual  Isn't it time he retired? or just stick to track commentating and forget the road? On the plus side it's great to hear the view from inside the peloton from Millar.

Just dipping in and out, at the moment.

Millar is certainly coming across well.

As for Porter, he ain't great but as I'm pretty down on Phil & Paul (more so Phil), there's not a lot of choice.

Simon Brotherton can do a job, but I image he has it pretty sweet on the radio.

The bloke who did the Vuelta for ITV would do nicely for me. Can't remember his name right now but he freelances I think and I thought he did a great job commentating on the Vuelta. Mc something or another I think?

Edit: Anthony McCrossan

Noooo, he has no light and shade.

Rob Hayes has become a great co commentator. perhaps him and Maggie could become a new team.

Course looks fab today, big crowds, radio said Cav has already been clobbered by a supporters banner, race should start ramping up soon, Allez Voekleor.

Nocentini and Flecha just gone in the second chase group. Italy and Spain need to make a hard race of it I suppose if they want to give Nibali & AVV a chance.

Take it you didn't go over then? Unlike you not to be there. Or are you on your phone as you wait for them to come round again?

No never managed a World Championship, hoping TOB may attract one over here, always at an odd time of year for time off/travel i.e TDF guarantees a bit more sunshine than places like Holland in late September.

A real selection at the front now, feels a bit like the olympic Road Race but with a big climb and we have Cummings and Tiernan Lock looking good

:lolol: Superb analogy! :clap2:

Meanwhile, in the battle of the 15 year olds, EBH beats JTL.

Great race today and pleased for Gilbert. Not happy to see AVV on the podium though.

2nd again!!

Well done 1066 for the overall. Your grand tour form really killed us off.

Thank you. Still Lombardi to go next Saturday though. Then finally the season is over. A result us having a late ko but I fear I still won't quite be able to watch it all and make kick off time. Very tempted to sell my tickets on for Brum and stay at home to watch Lombardi. I've been bitten by the bug that badly I'm afraid. If I could record an internet stream of Lombardi I'd be ok, but I can't.

Blimey Pantani what have you done!

Check the ITV4 listings.
In the bizarro world, ITV4 always showed highlights of Paris Tours.
Who knows they might have picked Lombardi up as well.

BMC must be pretty miffed that he hasn't done that in one of there jerseys.

Well they should be happy with a rainbow BMC one now.

Are Lombardi or Paris Tour on TV, Eurosport have always ditched it for motor racing in the past. Gilbert's first chance to show off the jersey.

1066 shame on you as Gus would have you know "were f**king brilliant' at present, we are the team SKY of the championship, just swap Bruno for Contador.
