Today was the final shopping day for The Strat.

It'll be a minor miracle if everything fits although it's standardness should work in my favour.

I have snaffled up a couple of glorious finds which really made me smile.
Fingers crossed the grand unveiling will be Friday evening.

Well this escalated quickly, frame arrived Friday, quick clean and a few coats of lacquer and I decided to strip my unridden JS racer and raid the parts cupboard.

Need a longer chain and a few frame straps as it has no gear lever bosses or guides. But it rides well.

Also made a few offset brackets as the brakes are short reach!

Looks great!

How about banded gear levers for the downtube?
