Isco is a great shout - I was hoping he'd slip under the radar for a few rounds

I was also going to give him as my second round pick, but risked the 4 picks between. To risk abother 20 odd picks wasn't worth my gamble, haha!

Been thinking about this for and have settled on a player to complete my La Liga triple along side Bale and Costa. A ball playing defender at the very top of his game who won so many medals and is not even 30 yet. My 3rd player in the mighty Lovergrovers FC is:

Gerard Pique

gerard-pique-300.jpg

Not sure which category yet, but as one of the top defenders in the world, thought I would nab him now.
Gazwag, no pressure, on to you.

I actually looked him up with a view to fill my 30+ category. Not to be!

I'm now going for someone who would walk into any XI in the world. Golden boot at the 2010 World Cup, Won the Bundesliga and the Champions League. Sheer class, and I'll hand him a free role.

3 of the last 4 players picked have ben players i had shortlisted for my team and as i have been left with just one player who has been relegated in their career therefore i will have to pick them next.

This player was on loan to Tours FC for the 2006/7 season, appearing for them 29 times when they finished last and were relegated from Ligue 2 so fits into category 7.

Tall, lean and powerful, the Morocco international has all the physical attributes one would look for but also an impeccable sense of position and timing. He is Mehdi Benatia
Mehdi-Benatia-001.jpg

Benatia joined Marseille in 2003, and signed his first professional contract with them two years later. After loan spells at Tours and Lorient, he left for Ligue 2 club Clermont on 1 July 2008 on a free transfer.

On 1 July 2010, Benetia signed for Serie A club Udinese Calcio, again on a free transfer. He made 72 league appearances for Udinese, scoring five goals.

On 13 July 2013 A.S. Roma signed him from Udinese for €13.5m on a five-year contract, with Nico López and Valerio Verre going the other way on co-ownership as part of the same deal. On 26 September, Benatia scored his first goal for the club in a 2-0 victory against Sampdoria. After further goals against Bologna and Catania, he finished the year as Roma's joint-top scorer.

My next pick is for category 6 (football in four different countries).

Big hair and a big tackle, it's Bayern Munich's Brazilian centreback Dante.

I have gone a little left field with my 3rd pick (50th Overall) - I have picked someone firstly to cover a category I think is going to get very very difficult to find players for later on... as well as a player who I believe will make a great impression on this years World Cup if he is given a chance.

In Category 7 - (Has been relegated during his career) I pick Southampton's (and England's) wizard - Adam Lallana
