I'm still trying to work out how Commander's Gran managed to make vile cup cakes. How is that achieved? Was it cabbage flavoured?

What are everybody's views on this new 'in thing'?

I absolutely hate it. Middle class, Hampstead, Primrose Hill, private school, oh yes lets go for cupcakes and champagne darling CRAP CRAP CRAP. They're not even very nice, they are ridiculously expensive for a rubbish cake, and they look stupid. Some twats even have wedding cakes made out of cupcakes now. What a load of shit. If I was given a birthday cake made out of cup cakes I'd smash the thing in the bastard who gave it to me's face.

Does anybody else feel as strongly as I do?

Yes, My Dad! A Swiss trained Baker and Patissier who sees everyone with a kitchen belting out lurid £5 cupcakes, and feels like throwing his cake decorating books in the sea!

My wife makes cakes of all types but everyone seems to want the cup cake,she made some for a coffee shop and charged them £1 per cup cake giving her a profit of 65pence per cake,only for the shop to sell them at £2.60 each.
