We were very poor first half. Better in the second half but nowhere near last year's form or even early season form this year.

Until we get back some of the injured players I can see much of the same.

Pleased with a point after the first half performance . However if it was a fight the referee would have stopped it at the end - they were done and desperately hanging on for a point at home against a seriously weakened Albion side :ffsparr:
But the ref didn't stop it - he let us have at least an extra 30 seconds to have another go; but we just pissed around on the edge of the box!

Great performance considering so many of our players are out injured, its amazing just how well those brought in have performed I was thinking if we had all our players fit and available of those on the pitch tonight would probably not have played I guess it’s Hinch, Igor, Adingra, benunote, Baluba

Imagine the shitshow of being in the Championship and playing Champions League :lolol:
Who gives a ****, we'd have won the bloody Europa League! (and you'd fancy us coming straight back up). A proper massive European cup. West Ham's win was decent, but they're as close to being Champions of Europe as Burnley were to being Champions of England last season.

De Zerbi not very happy and blaming the policy of the club due to having to play young players who are not ready
Oh great- that's wonderful to hear

And also pretty twatish considering our injury list - who does he think we are!? Even the likes of Spurs and Newcastle have had slim pickings due to injury lists.

Wow. De Zerbi is getting irritated. He really wants a few ready-made players.

Bit concerned by that RDZ interview. Said ‘the policy of the club’ 3 times in relation to the transfer policy to recruit young players with seemingly some frustration. Feels like he is wanting 2 or 3 ‘oven ready’ players in Jan, and that might be why he hasn’t signed a new contract yet

We are not at the level of last season but it’s hardly unexpected considering injuries, players sold and the extra fixtures this season. Before the game tonight we were only one point off same time last season, which is a great achievement. Tonight was a tired performance but we dug deep to get a point and were much the better team in the second half.
Billy and Joào Pedro have both been revelations this season, and despite some people's unfair sniping, Hinshelwood has made the jump really well for such a young fella.........

but Caicedo is a big big loss, we got away with losing Bissouma as Caicedo seamlessly took his position. Unfortunately Baleba looks a mile off right now and is nowhere near where either Biss or Caicedo were in first season, we need a physical defensive midfielder enforcer and we don't have one, just have to hope Carlos comes good with a little patience and hope it's not another expensive Locadia type mistake?

Ali Mac too hasn't been replaced and there's that missing thread in final 3rd, combined with injuries to key players and Mitoma being off it at present.

We are much less fluid than last season, and lacking in a few areas.

But it's certainly not all doom and gloom.

WTF? No they're not ready, but if we weren't so badly hit by injuries we'd be doing ok. In fact, we're doing ok even with the injuries.

Hopefully just a bit frustrated by not winning and he'll calm down.
