Gods country fortnightly
Palace are still playing the same old anti-football, Roy really was the perfect fit for England manager. One day soon will give then a good tonking

Incidentally, anyone got a stat how many times Zaha touched the ball today?

So I did hear correctly. Very astute and pithy comment from Neal.

It even got a smile from the Palace player at the time.

Good to know that players can still appreciate wit in the midst of battle.

It was very soft, but when you put both hands on an opponents shoulders, you’re asking for trouble.
VAR didn’t think it was a clear and obvious mistake, so there you go .
Unless your hands are on Lamptey's shoulders apparently.

From BBS - Since Opta began recording shot data in the Premier League in 2003-04, Crystal Palace are the first team to have had just one shot in a match in the competition and for that shot be a penalty.

Point of order, but that’s just bollocks.

We won a game a while back with zero shots on target.

I have no idea why we weren't wearing blue shorts. Premier League rules don't prohibit short colour clash.

In fact, this was Everton at Selhurst a few weeks' back....

We used to only changed shirts when colours clashed. Now it is every away game. Is this to sell more shirts or do we have a different sponsor for away games. On basis Barber has stated important to push club awareness abroad would think would want blue and white as much as possible

Nothing to do with Barber. Every club now has a home kit and an away kit (plus a 3rd for when the away kit clashes). Kits sold = cash in the bank. Us and everyone else.

Was thinking half way through the second half that he had been dispossessed virtually every time he touched the ball. Can't have completed more than a couple of passes all game.

He touched the ball when he rifled it into our net. Again. For the 9th time playing against us, a record unequalled by any other player v another team in the PL or something like that. Bookies don’t give odds on him scoring against us anymore, it’s that certain. So it doesn’t really matter if he didn’t touch the ball more than 3 times in an entire game because chances are that’s all he needs to secure a hat trick when playing us.

Yes he always scores against us, we all know that.

But he has scored 7 times against us.

What is it with you? Your stats are always exaggerated.
No wonder you think every other team is doing so much better than us.

Yes, and it's shitty. One of the many shit things in football these days. Away strips should only ever be used if there's a genuine colour clash.

The yellow away shirt with white shorts is an abomination of a kit.

If the blue shorts cannot be worn with it then the black 3rd kit should be used.
