Hope he plays a blinder against his former club tomorrow night and shows they were wrong to get rid of him.

i like Crofts, gives 110% but imo him and Dicker are to similar players and i would pick Dicker everyime, in central midfield u need a player who sits , breaks up the play and give the ball simple Dicker does this brillantly and you need attacking midfielder with creativity and to run at players that why i cant understand why Thornhill and Cox havent been playing.

If you actually watched Crofts you'd know he doesn't sit, and actually gets forward more than Dicker.

Problem is Crofts is for some reason percieved as a holding midfielder - he's not, he's a box to box one.

That was Davies. I've only just realised we've got TWO Welsh internationals. How embarrassing for all concerned.

fact is mate davies had his car stolen and it was in the bag he had with him so it was not embrassing or being lazy on his part so get your facts right you losers. croft is a arse for turning down playing for his country and staying at brighton. it is a honour to play for your country.

I saw the interview and what Crofts was saying was that he got the call too late to go and felt that this game had more meaining. It doesn't matter whether Wales win or lose tomorrow they're still not going to South Africa, but our game tonight is one where we need the points. He made the right decision for us.

Well having heard him speak Crofts sounds about as Welsh as I am, maybe he doesn't feel it's an honour, maybe he thinks it's a pointless trip when his club need him?

Lets at least attempt to unpick this then.
Davies had his car stolen, but it turned out it was in his bag ? Even if Davies drives a Smartcar and has one of Buzzers manbags, I'm struggling to piece this picture together.

And whats it got to do with Crofts ?

Well balanced argument there. Well done.

Suggest you take off your blue and white tinted specs and look at the bigger picture.

He's turned down a trip to LIECHTENSTEIN. Jesus, get a grip. It's not like he's refusing to turn out at Wembley or the Bernabeu.
I agree with you - it doesn't impress me either.

Plus it was reported on SSN as a derby game he wanted to play in.

I'm not sure why that factual inaccuracy got right on my tits, but it did.

He's perceived as a holding midfielder because he does nothing at all of note in an attacking or creative way.

He spends most of his time acting like a defensive midfielder - chasing play, breaking up opposition passing, passing sideways and backwards, etc.

I agree. He's turned down a pointless match - Lichtenstein away - for a team with no chance of qualifying.

But as you say, he'll be first to moan when they have a chance to qualify and he's overlooked time and again. And even if he isn't, it's still a poor show - he's just taking the easy option.

Except scoring against Yeovil, had another shot on target that was saved by their keeper, had a good header well saved by the MK Dons keeper, besides even if he hadn't done anything I don't remember Dicker doing anything for the last few games.

Go and wank over Glenn Murray or something please.

So 3 attacking moments from an "attacking" centre midfielder in what, 11 games?

Blimey, you've blown me away yet again.

You'd rather him than Dicker?.....Blimey.
