Oh this aged well. Almost six hours non stop edge of seat football last night. When it's really on, football is the most incredible game.

I'd still give it to the Spain Croatia game, 8 goals, that own goal, the equaliser deep in stoppage time, chances both ends in extra time before Spain finally did it. France Swiss had the tension of penalties, another amazing come back and the missed pen in normal time, plus if cost the underdog winning, but the extra time was quite dull to be a real nit picker.
It was the back to back nature of the games that made it so amazing, with the first game extra time running up to 15 minutes from the second game kick off, quite breathless really.
I also managed to squeeze in a bit of tennis ridiculousness at the same time, with Murray deciding that a simple win wouldn't be British enough at Wimbledon. Quite the emotional roller-coaster!
