Pants in twist + cumming over nothing alert.

Lets get this right.

It was a clever penalty that when they work look brilliant. The shittest player in the world can take a good penalty though so lets not reach for the Klenex just yet.

In games when it matters he has still to fufill potential.

I think he looks better than Battipiedi but neither are spectacular or staking a claim to start yet.

No one is demanding he start every league game because of a flair penatly, people are simply pointing out it was a VERY well taken one,

How was it a piss take? the Keeper committed himself earlier and all Baz did was poke it down the middle

By the pace with he hit with, I’ll wait until I see it again, but having seen the keeper move one way that you would instinctively hit into the opposite corner firmly but without blasting it,
But Baz decided to hit near the keeper down the middle with barely enough for it to reach the back of the net.

Very, flash, entertaining I suppose, but it was in a piss taking sort of way.

Sorry to disagree with absolutely everyone on here but it looked to me like Chino fluffed it. IMHO I think you're all being very generous, the lad was far too casual and, I suspect, not on purpose.

Murray's pen was the pure genius one.

Casillas and Hart together in goal couldn't have kept that one out.

Why isn't Murray the regular penalty taker?

Because he only has a 50%~ scoring record, at best (I think?)

Watch it again. I couldn't believe he had done it on purpose until I saw the shots of his eyes on the run up. Now utterly convinced that he meant it.

Sparrows penno was the best of a good bunch. Loved the angle from the top corner of the net. Unstoppable.

Here are my reasons why this is the most FLAIR thing I've seen all season:

- It's a penalty shootout = FLAIR
- He's an Argentinian called Baz! = FLAIR
- It's the FA freakin' cup! = FLAIR
- He didn't even know he'd won it for us = FLAIR
- John Barnes saw it live! = FLAIR

is any more proof needed?

This, here's wondering if he does that on a regular basis, because it was, literally, an unstoppable penalty.

In terms of Baz, I'd think most people would've slapped him if he missed, but I'd be inclined to think his audacity to perform such an act of FLAIR would've come from us already 2-0 on the pens, and them missing three in a row.

Also, his penalty-taking abilities mean nothing, if he cannot play well on the pitch. I havn't seen much from him, and still reserving judgement.

I think both Argies played alright last night, got to feel sorry for Agustin though, he didn't only miss his penalty, he put it on the exact same spot of the crossbar at Peterborough as well LOL, the lads due a goal and can see him, after bagging his first becoming quite a dangerous sub for us, same for Baz, a goal each will do them the WORLD of confidence imo :vuvu2:
