TBH, I've watched/listened to so many games when against 10 men the 11 have lost. Let's not forget the game a couple o' years ago when we lost against 9!!!

That one was an embarrassement - was it against Crewe with us scoring first but losing 2 - 1 against 9 men?

Why? Did he miss the goal with the shots or miskick the ball or perhaps give away a free kick for them to grab the late equalizer.

No he didn't...He just signs the player, picks the team, selects the tactics, selects the formation, takes training, makes the subs, gives the team talk....But no, you right Grandad, as always it's f*** all to do with Poyet, nothing ever is...It's all the players, in fact I don't know why any team bothers to employ a manager at all. Honestly some people on here are so blinded towards Poyet, he be caught shagging their missus and people would say he slipped and just fell in, and kick the dirty bitch out while they buy Poyet a pint for his trouble.

If someone kept treating me like a piece of shit and talking down to me, i'd f***ing let them down as well....Total crap.

Have you met Gus?

He tells every single individual players exactly what's expected of them, and he makes sure it's what they're capable of. If they do it, he supports and encourages them further. And if they don't, he lays into them. If all of them drop short of their expectations, they get lambasted; and if they all perform (even if we don't win) they get an arm round the shoulder.

Can't see what's wrong with that approach; the players need to know where they stand else they won't respect the manager. And while he isn't popular with some of the players (and he admits this, and importantly, doesn't care), he is fully respected. Which is why he'll still be here at the end of the season.

Ah, so that's it. 'Their'...

Oh dear did I get my spelling wrong?...Pardon me for not getting my English O' Level and being an outdoor manual worker for the last 25years. You people who pick up on bad grammar, may think you are being clever and funny but infact you just make yourself look like keyboard bullies and i'm convinced most people think the same. But carry on if it make you feel good about yourself.

I've been a bit of a critic of Gus, the way we've played at times and more obviously some strange selections but yesterday he looked to have it pretty well spot on. Plus, in making those substitutions he did everything right I reckon and I can understand him being royally pissed off. We should have wrapped it up well before our pen and deffo not have given them any more chances after it.

Really,,,I doubt Sparrow, Vincelot, Caskey and quite a few others would share that view. But you could be right.

I think he was intimating that 'their missus' was actually your missus, which would explain your dislike for the chap.

But you could be right.

.....but it won't stop you moaning like a broken record about him will it?

As anyone who went yesterday will attest, Gus got it spot on yesterday, the line up, the tactics, playing four up front when we went 2-1 behind, everything.

The defence (and Bridcutt for the second goal) messed it up.

When was the last time you saw a Brighton team have 15 chances in this division away from home?

No. As far as I'm aware your spelling was fine.

I was trying-and clearly failing-to imply that your constant Poyet bashing was because he shagged your missus. 'their' being used as a replacement for 'my' in the same way we say 'a friend' when we talk about that error of judgement in Bangkok...

To be fair Pres, creating the chances home or away hasn't really been the problem, barring Blackpool. It's the finishing the chances off which is woeful and has been for quite a while now. We get away with it to a certain extent because of the defence, but if Bridge is going to be out for any length of time, you fear that will be breached more often, till he is back.

You seem to forget we were playing against 10 men. I'd expect most side to have plenty of shots on goal v 10 men too, even away from home.
