The best attendance Crawley have ever had is 2200 against MK dons I think.

Actually it was nearer 4,500 against Weymouth in the league below the conference. (You won 2-1)

A lot of our fans, me included, went as it was the day we campaiginig at various grounds throughout the country for Falmer.

The away attendance was 35 today. :) Pretty good for a 11 hours there and back just for 90 minutes of football in my opinion, when we play them later this season away, we won't match that.

When was this? On record it says 2203

It was near the end of the 2003-04 season, Albion were suppose to be playing someone (might have been Tranmere) that day but they were involved in the FA Cup so we had a free weekend and fans got together and orgainsed a national falmer day around several grounds around the country.
I went to that Crawley game and also did the Brighton Bears in the evening.

There was a point when Crawley regularly got crowds well over a thousand, and several times over two thousand if I remember correctly. Would have been about the time they first made it to the BSP level from the Southern League, whatever it was called then.

But then the Majeeds took over the club and nearly ruined it, at which point many fans started a boycott of games. Attendance figures have never quite recovered, aided by a team that hasn't set the league alight, and several points deductions for various rule infringements.
