I see that Crawley have given Pompey 1,600 tickets for tommorrows game, and they are all sold. That is 25% plus of the capacity, recipe for trouble?

Crawley aggro-ha ha!

Pompey "playing up" a bit-possibly, but Crawley hardly going to drag the 657 knuckle scrapers out and with only 1600 tickets, they will go to their most loyal who tend not to be troublemakers.

Both good answers above.

Unnerving response fella!

More importantly, and I know off topic, but was having a discussion about whether 2 headlights on a motorcycle in England is illegal? I was told by a motorcyclist you know, that it is. Seems to me it should be as when looking in side mirror when entering main road in dark, often looks to be a car a long way away, whereas shortly after I find its a speeding motorcycle a lot closer. V dangerous in my book. Is it illegal as lots seem to ignore if it is?

There will be more that 1,600 pompey there.
Apparently Crawley were selling tickets to anyone that wanted them.

But as said, who cares.

Judging by Crawley's usual tiny attendances, and the fact that it's live on telly, Pompey fans will probably make up half the crowd. Shame they'll go home disappointed.

Anybody found out yet where Crawley get their money from for this miraculous carry on up the league? Sure as hell ain't from paying punters.

f*** me it's like a stuck record, Bruce Winfield pumped a lot of money into the club, much like Tony Bloom he was a life long fan and involved in the club for decades.
When Bruce died his wife Silpa Winfield has carried on with that investment.
My sauce is my uncle, who was Bruce's very best friend.

Fair enough. But don't you think that taken to its logical conclusion that it'll look a bit odd that Crawley reach the Premier League with gates of 5K ???

They'll not be anywhere near the championship let alone the premier league.
And as for laundering money, you need to get back what you are paying in, and I think that is very unlikely with crawley town and their tiny gates, don't you think ?
Let's be honest, Silpa winfield funding their wage bill, isn't really that different from Tony Bloom spunking a million pound on our stadium, neither are likely to get their money back unless you hit the premier league.

I can think of at least one NSCer who will be there knocking one out at the hint of an "off". Sad really.

Who is suggesting they are laundering money?

An award winning multi-purpose stadium is a different kettle of fish to a host of well paid footballers. I'd say they are at different ends of the investment spectrum.
