Not rubbing in it but what a debut from craig noone,he was different class, cant believe we got him for 1 mill.the left back from wolves will be having nightmares, but also his workrate,he didnt stop working.is there a reason he got sold, ive only watched him 3 times and everytime he was best player in pitch.good luck for rest of season.

See the many other threads. You paid more than £1m for him, he is not consistent, we replaced him with better for a nominal amount.

Good luck though, nice bloke and can be decent

Popular lad with everyone at the club and fans, will always give everything and at times will be the best player on the pitch as you've seen. When he settles down you'll see he can be a frustrating player more often than not as he tries to do a bit too much on the ball, can't shoot very well and his crossing is at best, erratic.

Promises a lot but doesn't actually deliver anything of substance too often

I think we all liked Nooney, but the money meant we could strengthen elsewhere. You're happy, we're happy, Nooneys happy. Its all good

On his day, fantastic. But unfortunately, those days can be few and far between. Top bloke though, and I wish him all the best apart from when he's playing against us.

Way too inconsistent. Needs to work on end product. Our other 2 wingers are better, more direct and more dangerous - Buckley and lualua... We've also signed Lopez and Orlandi.

We only play with 1 winger most of the time! Won 3-1 away at Burnley without noone so can't say we missed his 'best player on the pitch status'.

On his day he is a real handful.

He has struggled with injuries & seemed to lack a final ball although he has started this season really well.
I hope he does well for the welsh dragons as he is a really nice guy.

Good luck for the season

Whilst nooney is incredibly entertaining and worth the entry fee alone his final ball / shot often lets him down. You get more end product from buckley and lua lua. I guess it was a calculated risk to let him go given we have better wingers and probably needed funds to invest in a striker

If you can coach finishing and accurate crossing into Craig you will have a 10million pound player. If he'd already got that he'd be first pick for Liverpool. A very decent player though and great lad.

I echo all the comments on this thread. His crossing and shooting seemed to have got worse not better under us, although we will always love him for his mazy runs and cheeky japes. Will always fondly remember the way he continually turned Peter Ramage of Crystal Palace inside out at the Amex.

These threads about Noone are getting to be as annoying as actually having to watch him play.

I was always sure that one day he would do a Maradona-style goal for us, waltzing past four players and rolling the ball into an empty net but sadly it never happened.

Eh? He wasn't the best player at home against Cardiff either this season or last (and I don't think he played at your place last year). He's great though, and I'm sure he'll do well for you.
