...will be on the scoresheet tonight. FACT

Tonight will be the night he proves his doubters wrong by scoring the winning goal in spectacular fashion. I was day dreaming on the bus to work and reckon we will be drawing 2-2 till CCCCraig Davies comes on and scores the winner!

I'm so confident of this outcome that I have placed a £5 bet on him to be last goalscorer at 5-1.

That is all.

Murray is 5-1 for first/last goalscorer. Insane odds.

Read 'em in the Argus in the newsagents this morning, didn't buy a copy though. Think they said it was at bet365.

Just checked bet365 site. On there.

I know it's crazy! I was pretty tempted by Bennett first scorer @ 9-1 and Crofts first scorer @ 16-1.

As a wild card Elphick is 33-1 for first scorer, cheeky header from an early corner?

He won't prove the doubters wrong unless he scores loads tonight.

We're playing the WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE

The same worst team in the league that we scrapped past 1-0 at home after their two centre-halves kept Dickinson and Forster quite quiet until the 75 minute?

Not saying a goal will completely prove the doubters wrong, but a good performance from him will go some way to doing so.

The same worst team in the league that we comfortably outplayed, but missed our best player (who is finally fit). They've since been in freefall, leaking goals for fun.

Speaking as a doubter, I'm fairly certain that nothing other than goals will go some way to proving me wrong.

He has pace - that's it.

His finishing is piss poor - even before he scored for the reserves last week, he still managed to miss a sitter from 4 yards out (Check it out on Seagulls World if you want).

He doesn't create chances, he doesn't win loads in the air, he doesn't score goals.

1 game isn't going to change that opinion, and to be honest, with Dickinson and Hart coming off the bench and doing well on Saturday, I'm not convinced he'll play anyway.

How about the goal he scored agasint Wycombe that was unjustly dissalowed? You know the one the other week where he left the centre-half for dead and placed his shot into the top corner. That was a good finish and example of creating a chance, wasn't it?

He has a stronger build (He's two stone heavier and is still quicker) than Dickinson and wins more in the air. Dickinson wins very few headers over the course of a game. I'm not convinced either of them are great finishers, and neither of them should be starting, but I think Davies poses slightly more of a threat than Dickinson.

Out of interest what has Dickinson done to prove to you he's good enough?

He moves around the pitch like a penguin, acts like a petulant kid (on and off the field), gets bullied off the ball by defenders and 50% of the time have a poor first touch.

Davies is good at everything but finishing, which is sadly fairly essential for a striker. Dickinson, on the other hand, is f***ing SHIT at EVERYTHING apart from finishing (which he is okay at.) Davies ahead of Dickinson for me every time.
