we're top of the f***ing league :ffsparr:

Top of the league or not even Gus has said we need a target man. By the way, i'm over the moon that we're top of the league.

Any target man that comes in will have the pedigree of Bruno, Kuszsack, Bridge, etc.

Craig Davies, that is not.

So it wouldn't be useful to have Davies in the squad? And you call me ridiculous? At least give the guy some credit. He really didn't look a bad player tonight.

I didn't call you ridiculous. I called your post ridiculous, which it was. We are top of the league having won five on the trot and you're suggesting signing a player based on one good game. Unbelievable

There's always a gap between obvious physical ability and psychological ability. Some players can only go so far, playing certain football. Ad, barnsey and dixie have all had questions asked, at least 66.7% have answered but is CD prem worthy all the time?

To think we kept Murray and let Craig go. Poyets biggest mistake imo.

No manager gets things right all of the time but both players would be assets even if they did not start every game.

Craig Davies had his 'Bryan Wade' moment today. Chances are, today was his 15 minutes of fame & he will now continue on the road of being a mediocre to rather naff striker. Never rated him much & we certainly don't need him back.

Hopefully this thread won't get bounced back at me in May when he ends up as the Leagues highest scorer.... ???

simply delighted for him. a better player than he was ever given credit for when he was with us. yes the miss against northampton did not help him become a hit with us because all our other players at the time were putting them away not ! always a handfull and gave his all and like cms the last to go off clapping the faithfull. we have what we need and he is not one of them, but has done well for himself and may be more to come. good on him.

Oh blah blah blah... He was shit when he played for this and I'm not buying this "no rub of the green" and "poor support" crap. He was shit.

Now he's ok. Barnes, CMS and Dobbie are better so lets not get too carried away.

Pleased for Craig. Thought we sold him prematurely.

If we have promotion aspirations then we will need back up in the forward line up. How many points would we be on if CMS were not playing, or what about when he gets injured, not well?

We have cover of course, but we didn't do too much up front today after CMS went off & they went down to 10
