Come on the bloke has been UTTER TURD since he joined. 1 good performance does not change that and his strikers goal scoring record is about 1 in 12 games now isn't it ?.

Good STAT.*

*Its actually 2 in about 8 starts....

My thoughts are that Slade, White and Booker probably sat them down after the MK game and asked them, "Do you want that sort of response form the fans after every game between now and the end of the season?" or words to that effect. Those boos must have been ringining in their ears all the way down the M1. Let's pray that the players have woken up, and might just start putting in some of the same passion and effort for the remaining games.

Comon you Super Seagulls!

It said in the arsegas today that slade said to them 'do you want to be playing at southampton or accrington next season!!

Lol it's only because he has been overhyped that he is suffering all this shit. He's only 21 for christ sake! He's got bags of ability- as seen with his 8 goals for Stockport early on. He's tall, quick, strong and powerful- as TCB rightly said, he just needs to put one away, gain a little confidence and calm down a bit and he'll be very good for us, especially under Forster's teaching.

So why don't all the people having a go at Craig have a go at players that don't even try, instead of a player that every time I have seen play has worked his socks off.

So, from being singled out for abuse to man of the match.

Another example to add to the list in response to people who say "booing/criticising never helps".

class he was....it is simple movement and wanting to put your foot in where it hurts sometimes not pretty and you don't always get your name on the scoresheet but otherw do because of his efforts...need at least a couple of goals in these last 6 games !
i reckon Swindon is his time !

He should have said "Do you want to be playing professional football at all next season, because if you don't sort yourselves out you are getting released"

Had his best game for us by far and very unlucky with that shot - 100% support from all the fans helped. He was getting rather worked up at times with the officials over nothing decisions and I think the substitution was as much about not getting a second yellow and inevitable suspension in the run-in - he was putting it about and a second yellow would have been quite likely in the last quarter.

3 I think

In other words you hav'nt really seen enough of him to dismiss him as being UTTER TURD then? All strikers go through a barren spell and he wont have been the first to encounter it soon after joining a club and he wont be the last.

Tcb, does it really suprise you that he has shone against a team you've described as a disgrace to football? He's found his level. League 2

Hereford were GASH last night but we were only marginally better!

the fact is that he DID have a good game last night and probably needed to play against a poor opposition to get some confidence!

I thought that, it was a good decision from Slade. We need a fired up Craig Davies.

Honeslty some people on here an ridiculos, saturday night he is one of our worst signings ever, tuesday night he is gods gift to football? He put in one good performance against the worst team in the league, it was on saturday that he needed to give a good performance and he failed totally, as he has on multiple previous occasions

I really don't get why Murray s held in such high esteem by some people. I don't get why he gets slaughtered either.

It seems to me that he can score a lot of goals in a short period, but can also go as much as a couple of months without scoring at all. He joined us, scored a couple, then went on a goalless streak and the fans turned on him, then he started scoring again. He then went through another barren spell and the fans turned on him, then found his scoring touch.

So far, Craig Davies scored on his debut, and has gone on a goalless streak. Why is it so wrong to make the comparison to Murray, who did the same thing?

I think part of the over the top praise for last night is almost an apology, or an admittance the criticism went too far on saturday. It's a balance thing.
