I do not believe that any CPFC supporter when paying to watch football did so knowingly or hoping that creditors would not be paid.
There has been a lot of self righteous things written on this board about unpaid bills,hopefully those that have been so concerned are model citizens who have never,done a bit of cash in hand work,fiddled the social,done an illegal download,bought a dodgy film before it has been released on DVD,bought a snide bit of designer gear from the market,jumped a train,not returned the money when they have been given too much change etc.
Although not related to football they all have the same effect on the economy in that somebody,be it the government,private individuals,shopkeepers or even multi million pound national companies lose out.

You are missing the point here. What I and more than a few others have tried to make people like you understand is that teams like Portsmouth, Palace, Leeds to name the better known clubs have been allowed to play at a higher level than they could afford to whilst they mock the likes of Brighton who actually try to keep within their budget to the detriment of their quality of players and thus their league status.

Palace would not have been in the Championship (or their spell in the Premier) if they had tried to stay solvent. GET IT ? Remember, Place have been in Administration TWICE IN TEN YEARS. Nobody is saying that it's the fans fault have they ? We are merely saying that coming along and larging it (as many have done in the last few years) people like me feel the need to point out that had they lived within their budget rather than going broke and allowing their creditors to get one per cent of what they are owed they would be in this division or lower.

Without spending so much money, we'd have been a bottom half Championship club, rather than a top half one. Our spending did pretty much nothing. Not having spent so much on Kuqi was barely going to get us relegated was it?!
