And of that £900m, how much has Beaky trousered through his "smoke & mirrors"?Sometimes it's nice to remember that Palace have had £900 MILLION in Premier League revenue since 2016 and they're absolute dogsh*te.

As I heard on a podcast earlier, it is astonishing that Mark Hughes has never managed Palace! That run of appointments through to Fat Sam (I guess Hodgson’s two stints can be included) must be the most “impressive” list of totally unoriginal managerial appointments by any PL club, probably including the 90s when most managers were of a similar ilk of being British and playing regressive 4-4-2 football. Back then the average lifespan was probably more than a season and a half.
There's still time.As I heard on a podcast earlier, it is astonishing that Mark Hughes has never managed Palace!
Yeah maybe, sorry if it offended.A bit harsh, perhaps?
Especially having had the upper hand over us for something in region of 25 years.I get pissed off when we lose and they win (although that’s pretty rare), seeing us do what we’re doing must be hurting. A lot.
Well quite. The only point I take with that video, where Simon Jordan says Tony Bloom has spent 400 million to get Brighton where we are in comparison to Palace. He says that no-one at Palace has that amount to spend to reach a similar level to us.
He failed to point out that a significant amount of that 400 million was spent on our stadium and training facilities. Jordan says that whilst in the Premier League Palace have only spent approx 340 million. He indicated 9 years at an average of 30 million and one year 70 million on players.
But Palace have spent significant sums on cladding, that has to be consideredThe only point I take with that video, where Simon Jordan says Tony Bloom has spent 400 million to get Brighton where we are in comparison to Palace. The guys name was Maximilian Meyer. According to the Sun he was on £170,000 a week.He also failed to point out the huge amount of wages that Palace have spent on journeyman PL footballers, which, i would hazard a guess is where the vast majority of their money has gone.
I can’t remember his name( that’s how much of an impression he made) but, the German wunderkinder they got on a free, and then paid him £120,000 a week, is the kind of signing we would never make.
Why would he let them terminate the contract? The guys name was Maximilian Meyer. According to the Sun he was on £170,000 a week.
Crystal Palace terminate Meyer's contract to get £170k-a-week deal off wage bill
