ive been to millwall many times,i park down the road from the ground, walk to the ground with friends and have never thought of being attacked once. the only incident i have ever seen there is kids gobbing off, and they caused no trouble at all.

There's a camp site of pikeys who might not think your so funny. Not when they're putting out the flames on their children's backs!!!

Oh they're sooooooo hard!

In fact... Yep... Yep, I think I just poop a little.

make the most of the "safe" trip too Wall this season as by all accounts the walk way's being dismantled next season .

so on the assumption we're still in the same division next season, how many are going to loose their bottle for this one then ???

I went there on the 1-0 win in the mid 80s ( Ferguson scored for us ), they are now pussycats compared to that day and anyone who was there would know what i am talking about.

I am definitely not going this season after that young lady pointed in my general direction and made a cut throat gesture.

We were the first away team to win at the Den in over a year that day & they were not happy. After the game they smashed a brick wall to ambush us on the way back to the station.

Went in 75-76 end of season (lost 3-1) - first time I've seen a drum at a match.

Went back in 77-78 (won 1-0 - Wardie) - it all kicked off with Millwall climbing into seats and attacking Albion - young & old.

Went back last season - all very calm in comparison.

If walking the 'coward's walk' means I get to the stadium and home safely without some meathead wanting to murder me because I support a different team, then I will.

Right on. They can call it "Big girls blouse way" or "You are a wuss way" or whatever, if it means I don't get any hassle when going to a football match, I'll take it!

don't think we're high up on their list to be honest but having seen some people playing up in the ground and then sloping off afterwards you do have to wonder if these types are going to be as keen .

All this spoken in terms as if the Met and Transport Police don't exist, and Millwall fans rule their World.

On match days, the Police (including with cctv and undercover), make it safe for visiting fans.

Even in the 2002 Millwall (bad losers to B'ham) riot, the Birmingham fans were kept safe, and it was more about scum trying to hurt the police.
Lots was learnt from that night by the authorities, and many scum spent years in prison since. Clever folk.

Football has moved on.
