Made it into the bbc news bulletin at lunchtime too.

This match will be postponed. We probably won’t get anyone back for the rescheduled date but they will! Just play and get it done. Tough.

Rescheduled match could well be months away - they've got the Burnley postponement to fit in as well.

With a bus replacement service between Eastbourne & Berwick on Sunday & the grand prix i would not be overly bothered about a postponement.

Europa League has rules for this. Does the PL not? Or is it a case of different rules depending upon which club is affected? :D

No - case by case on application to the PL Board (to allow for big club favouritism, presumably). Gooners fans already kicking off if Spurs get the game postponed as theirs v Brentford wasn't. UEFA rules are 100% clear - so for Thursday if they've got 13 players including a keeper they go ahead.

But (according to the BBC) Arsenal didn't apply to the EPL for their game to be postponed. Having said that, it seems bizarre that the Premier League don't have clear rules about when games can and can't be postponed for Covid.

Perhaps because one can't 'catch' an injury whilst spending time with other players.

Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

And none of our players are likely to be running around with as yet undiagnosed knee injury and passing it on to the other 21 players on the pitch.

It's not about the players out with COVID. It's about the players who might still be undetected.
