Couldn't give a toss about Leeds

What's the point of using this site and not getting properly involved? There are people who post what they think, but it's so insignificant it won't attract a response. What have they possibly got out of that?

You are implying what you say is significant?

Why be over the top of the sake of getting responses?

The THREAD TITLE appears to contradict that.

The first post however explains that I don't care about leeds LOSING.

Apologies. Just the two days, then.

One Sunday evening and one hour of a wet and crappy Bank holiday Monday, yes...

All of those point to the simple fact that Leeds' 'plight' IS relevant to the majority of posters.

Surely they point to the simple fact that although some (saddos!) CARE about Leeds' 'plight', others, and certainly not a minority, find it nothing more than a passing interest.

Hmm, "beloved" Man United? Get a hold of the FACTS before you say things like that. How many times have I watched Man United in my life? 0. How many times have I watched BHAFC? 388. Sorry, but the FACTS say it is you that is both a violent yob and a berk.

Yes - beloved. Let's see the profile of the typical Man U fan. Southerner, never been to a Man U game, creams their pants when ManU win. The facts state that you ARE a typical ManU fan.

Violent yob, eh? To paraphrase you, you wouldn't say that to my face, my lilttle keyboard warrior.

However you DO care about people who care about Leeds losing?

If you don't like people celebrating the fact Leeds have lost, don't open the bloody thread in the first place.

Shame about the "Albion games seen: 388" bit really, which kind of buggers the Man U claims...

No, I wasn't being snidey. I say what I think. I, and other people I've spoken to, do think you try and get in with the supposed "cool" or more respected members of this site. If you don't, I apologise, that's just the way I read it. You WERE a top bloke at that tournament last year. Not only did you organise a good day, you were an interesting chap to talk to too. As someone who is always emphasising my posts on here are NOT a mirror-image of my personality, I'm fairly sure that day is a reflection of you as a person. What, as I said, I do find a bit tragic is that if WW or I (and one or two others) post something, you have to resort to a childish tactic of mock insults and a 'superior' dismissal. I'd rather you just said nothing to be honest. On the other hand, if one of your 'mates' post, it's all hunky dory whatever they say. You're far from the only one, but I just find that a bit shit because in my mind this board is for an exchange of views, whoever they come from, and NOT a love-in with your mates.

Okay, I'll bother to respond, as I'm sat here waiting for a CD to finish copying.

Firstly, your life, and that of the 'other people' you speak to must indeed be desperately sad, if you spend your time discussing what you think posters on a chat room are thinking or 'trying to do'. Rest assured, I don't dwell on you much.

If you could give me a list please of the 'cool' people that would help, so that I can avoid being nice to any of them in future.

The 'me' you met in Preston Park is me. Its the same 'me' as posts on here. If I was nice to you that day, have a think why that might have been. Did you come up to me and start spouting opinionated views on all things Albion, or were you a normal bloke?

As for WW - how would one NOT feel superior?

I'd like to think that I'm one of HKFC's mates. On footie we pretty much agree. On music we pretty much agree. On ladies and politics, I think you'll find that it's far from hunky dory.

Of late, you and WW seem to post consecutively and deliberately try and be controversial. Take this thread for instance. If lots and lots of different people are having a pop at you then perhaps it's something you've written. I dunno, just guessing, like.

Yes, Buzzer, you are my mate. Even if you are Tory scum and like girls who look like young boys.

Not really. You and CB seem able to support 2 teams. That being the case, it might be advisable to post all the ManU stuff on a ManU fan site.

...and before you say it, all the anti-Leeds threads will probably dry up naturally as and when they are not in the same league as us.

Oh well, we live and learn. I just find some people's use of this site a bit peculiar at times, because it drifts so far from debating the albion, and seems more based on these online "characters" (which to me mean nothing) rather than what someone actually writes.

You see, that to me is an enormously odd statement, coming from somebody who in this very thread has admitted to creating an 'online personality' different from his real one.
