Couldn't give a toss about Leeds

Leeds are in the same division as us. By cheating , they were able to buy better players and finish above us thus robbing us of a play-off place. We played by the rules, have a club run on a tight budget and suffered because of it. I'd say it's a damn sight more pertinent than you creaming yourself over Man U's win.

Seeing as you and your boyfriend started how many threads about your beloved MAnure I'd say you're on weak ground. As for their financial position, see above. We could have gone to Wembley yesterday, you know? You and WW really are a pair of berks at times

:clap2: (apart from the last two words)

I clocked a Leeds fan on Brighton Beach yesterday, went up to him and shook his hand and said "see you back at the Withdean next season!" :D

I........LOVED that moment :D

I've joined this debate late, but the gist of it seems to be: one poster starts a thread to tell us that he doesn't care about something, his buddy then spends his ENTIRE bank holiday weekend online, telling people to 'get a life', and the general concensus is that we are entitled to care about Leeds' woes, as they cheated us out of a play-off place.

I can understand why you are bitter about Leeds, we are to big for this Division and you have to compete with us in your little half empty shack.

Don't worry i feel your pain.

Respeck for coming back for more Dead Duck-tions - though now, I'm wondering if you really are a leeds fan and not something Bozza made up to entertain us.

To reply though - you being too big for this division, at least you don't have to compete with Doncaster next season. I would feel your relief except we're not afraid of them, and confirmed by recent history - we're not afraid of your lot either.

Toodles

Not really.

Poster didn't start thread to say he doesn't care, poster started thread to say that he doesn't find Leeds losing funny, unlike some of the goons on here who get off over it.

His buddy hasn't posted today, and the thread was only started on Sunday evening, suggesting that 'his buddy' has not, in actual fact, spent his "ENTIRE bank holiday weekend online".

General concensus appears to be non-existent. Some argue that people creaming themselves over every Leeds defeat is sad, some argue that they like seeing Leeds lose because we play them next season as a result, some argue they hate Leeds for geographical reasoning, some argue that the can't stand Leeds because of their financial history, and some are baffled as to why Leeds are hated and similar offenders such as Leicester aren't.

That's the gist of it.

Hmm, "beloved" Man United? Get a hold of the FACTS before you say things like that. How many times have I watched Man United in my life? 0. How many times have I watched BHAFC? 388. Sorry, but the FACTS say it is you that is both a violent yob and a berk.

The only FACT apparent from that paragraph, is that you are deeply sad - sad enough to know exactly how many games you've seen. Do you write them all down in a little scrapbook?

[PS. This goes for BRETT, also]:jester:

Not really.

:

The THREAD TITLE appears to contradict that.

:

Apologies. Just the two days, then.

All of those point to the simple fact that Leeds' 'plight' IS relevant to the majority of posters.

Carry on....

It's very sad that someone who, albeit only for one day, proved they are a decent and friendly chap in real life, but feels the need to be a sucking-up, tedious knob on here.

I don't want to get involved in this really but you have no right to call ANYONE a tedious knob on here.

For scrapbook read word document, but otherwise yes. What's wrong with that? Each Saturday night I add one line. It doesn't make me 'sad.' The only sad thing is you writing that first paragraph, then noticing it also applies to "Brett" who, for whatever reason, you can't criticise because of your sad and desperate attempts to appear IN with certain people on this site (not that that works from what I've heard anyway). It's very sad that someone who, albeit only for one day, proved they are a decent and friendly chap in real life, but feels the need to be a sucking-up, tedious knob on here.

Gosh, quite the psychoanalyst, aren't we?

As for any desparate need to feel or appear IN [whatever that means] with a bunch of people I don't even know, you couldn't be more wrong.

I have a few mates who post on here, they know who they are. The rest of you are just words on a screen.

I like to think I'm a pretty decent and friendly chap, yes. Apologies if you see fit to interpret my words on a screen differently.

As for this little snidey aside '(not that that works from what I've heard anyway)' - don't hold back - fill your boots. I won't lose any sleep over it.
