I understand the 'three corners' rumour to be untrue (no source as such, just idle gossip from a friend of a friend's hamster). Obviously access will be needed, but there are ways around this - just look at the 'garages' in the corners at Wembley.

But that would take up a whole corner at Falmer, shirley?

My thoughts too - I just thought I would pass on the gossip. After all, where would NSC be without baseless gossip being reported as facts!?

So it's 22,500 when it opens. When we consistantly sell out and burst into the Premiership how much can we add to the Stadium with another tier/filling in the corners?

Will it be 30/35 or even 40k!!!

Anyone? Or is it all guesswork?

We need to be realistic.

Remember, Reading started off the the Madjeski with a similar size ground. Promoted to the Premiership and extended the ground to 30,000 - were relegated - and now play to a half empty stadium.

Any vehicles needing to gain access to the pitch area will be air lifted in by Chinook helicopter on constant standby on the new helicopter pad which is taking place of the pond at Falmer village. It shouldnt disturb the locals too much!!

Look for a post by Natterjack. He said 3 corners can be filled in and from memory it's the NW that won't be
Allowing for the Jack's thumbs up to the post that says that the 'three corners' rumour is 'untrue' ... it is indeed the corner between the north and the west stands that will be used to wheel in the equipment for events like mahoosive rock concerts, pornographic ice spectaculars and 'Dick Knight presents a cheque to the litter cleaners'.

Yes, but that's Reading. Never had that big a fan base.

Reading can extend to 40k but never made the changes as were relegated when discussions were hot

If phase 2 plans were introduced, all four corners would have seating. The 2 South side terrace steps would be cast on the sloped concrete base (as SW corner is now). The 2 Northern sides would each have vehicular access, the main gated entrance to the pitch being the NE corner.

Thanks NJ, how many more seats would the 4 corners provide?
