My point is that for an up and coming manager or in Coppell’s case a proven manager with aspirations of returning to management, a club like ours is a very appealing prospect. We have one of the larger player budgets in the division and a decent manager would relish the opportunity. So while I may have exaggerated our position if you are a manger with a five year plan to achieve something with an ambitious club, I feel Brighton and Hove Albion is perfectly suited.

From what I remember, it was rumoured that Knight wanted Coppell to talk to Reading as he wanted the compensation. If that's the case then Coppell did nowt wrong. Anyway, I would love it if he came back. Did an amazing job IMO.

Got chatting to him at Crowborough vs Whitehawk. He said he knew Bloom and that Coppell would be coming back soon.
