My point is that for an up and coming manager or in Coppell’s case a proven manager with aspirations of returning to management, a club like ours is a very appealing prospect. We have one of the larger player budgets in the division and a decent manager would relish the opportunity. So while I may have exaggerated our position if you are a manger with a five year plan to achieve something with an ambitious club, I feel Brighton and Hove Albion is perfectly suited.

so you think another manager wil get 5 years
with you lot he wil be lucky to get 5 monthes

Brighton
Is it just me who thinks that we're playing better, look to have made good, young signings and are in a false position VERY early in the season?

... why don't you all just stop this fantasy "5 years, when we're in the championship" bollocks and actually get behind a manager for a change???

what deep pockets?...he has financed the stadium.....he is not an Abramovitch. I dont see millions being put into the team ( and to be fair if he had millions to spend on players now would be the time to do it!)
Didn't we spend nearly a million pounds in transfer fees in the summer?

We are a far more attractive proposition now Wizard. BHAFC should be the hottest ticket outside the premiership right now and Slade is in a very priviledged position and needs to sort his shit out PDQ.

What a complete and utter load of drivel. The type of bha fan that screams for bha to be invited into the premier league, every time a match is won.

Why the hell would Coppout come to a club not significantly bigger than Reading and try and repeat the whole thing all over again of trying to get into the Premiershit and then trying to stay there on limited resources? Exactly the same thing he walked away from at Reading. Then again, he never was a very ambitious manager.

Absolute load of bollocks. Last I heard Coppell was being lined up for the Ipswich Job once Keane gets the eventual sacking.

Didn't Coppell quit football (as opposed to just leaving Reading) due to a long standing promise to those close to him?

They all say that.

I heard the same thing a few weeks ago.
No idea about the reliability of the source.
it came from someone who has invested money into Whitehawk (maybe the chairman not sure). Whoever he was he said he is sponsoring the MK Dons vs Albion match (at Stad MK).
Got chatting to him at Crowborough vs Whitehawk. He said he knew Bloom and that Coppell would be coming back soon.
