It wouldn't exactly come as a major shock, would it?

Coppel? Who the heck is that? Some no mark friend of Bloom? Same old ol' boys attitude.

I think I'd prefer to risk the never go back adage and go with Steve Coppell...

Now that would be good if it were Mid Nov rather than at the start of the Jan window

Depends on what sort of business man Bloom is. He won't want to fire Slade I'm sure, but how ruthless is he, based on our dreadful start to this campaign. I'm still supporting Slade 100%, but I am not (all that) ruthless !

I hope he DOES read it. It might make him buck his f*cking ideas up a bit. And please enough already with the " gelling " excuses. :US::US:

Micky Adams II then..... :US:

Coppel will only walk out on us again if a big club comes in anyway.

We are a far more attractive proposition now Wizard. BHAFC should be the hottest ticket outside the premiership right now and Slade is in a very priviledged position and needs to sort his shit out PDQ.

I'd say we are ONE of the hottest proposisions out of the top flight.

We have had to settle for mediocrity for long enough due to financial constraints, now we can and bloody well should expect success at this level. I know it’s not a god given right for us to be top of the league given the competition but with the money spent we should be a force this season NOT languishing in relegation zone after 10 games.

Where have you been since early August? :jester:

10 league games since early august. 12 more until christmas. 9 wins and sudfdenly we're looking pretty good. Replacing the manager who brought in a new squad, took time to get the team to gel (extended due to injuries and suspensions), then is on a great run of 9 wins out of twelve, I'd say replacing him would be a shocking decision.

Which is what Forster's Armband was getting at. A change at christmas will only make sense if our record at christmas is as bad as it is now.

Who says we're going to win 9 of the next 12 though?

Agreed that a change now may be premature, but if we are still in this position by late November then Slade OUT.
