palace made a big noise about their succession planning when Roy came back this season.

One thing we know about palace is they don't do things on a whim.

Whilst it seems wrong decision it must be a dream of a manager of a promoted club to be given £2350/300m for new players.

He has the kind of face that will suit Palace. A bit like Ian Dowie.
I like him. I'd be sorry to see him at Palace. He may have the face of someone peering out of the back window of a G4S van, speeding away from court never to see the light of day again, at least while using his birth name, but he seems to be smart, likeable and humble. That is NOT a Palace fit.

Thank god we have Tony Bloom as owner, and a great set up. Is it just lazyness that owners dont look at other candidates from the normal list of out of work shite esp the ones tbat have failed in the Premier league.
Bit harsh on Nuno, did a good job at Wolverhampton, won the Championship at a canter, led them to back to back 7th place finishes in EPL and Europa League QF's. Bit of a car crash at Tottingham but he's not the only one in that bracket. I'd say Forest are a slightly bigger club than Wolverhampton so can understand why they appointed him and if he repeats what he did there sure the Forest fans won't be complaining.

Indeed, however, he can now spend Christmas perfecting his party trick of eating an apple through a letter box.

Sad to see him get the chop but 1 win in 13 would see most managers relieved of their duties particularly when they've invested so much.

Unlike here, and that turned out well in the end until Potter moved on.

Depends whether you want them. I know they had some gaps to fill but they were buying players at a rate of knots. I'd be surprised if more than a small percentage were at the request of Steve Cooper.

I imagine a lot of Forest fans will feel the disappointment I felt when Hughton was sacked, he's a decent coach and seems like a nice bloke but probably the right decision.
