I must say well done this season and yes you are champions and very worthy champions. But why play this game up so much against us, as you have done! Pre match entertainment, match day programme, and this board is more dominated by Southampton then Brighton celebrating your worthy title. We have had a splendid season and winning the league was what we set out to do and achieved it. It's just sad when clubs have smug supporters who boast about how their club is the greatest in the league and will romp home to the trophy only to have egg on their face when we proved they are not the biggest or best club in the league. We were trying to do huddersfield a favour a get them the 2nd spot because they probably deserve it but unfortunately the game we wanted to play diddn't come off today mainly due to the hoof ball from the saints team that exploited our CB's. I also think th game swung massively in saints favour when Chaplow abused Ankergren and got away with only a yellow. If the ref hadn't bottled it you wouldn't be here singing

I suspect the problem Oatway / Tanno came out of something that Adkins was shouting at them during the game. I presume he was accusing one of Brighton players of cheating. Poyet shook hands with Adkins and I even saw Hammond being embraced by a number of Brighton players.

Adkins always has a lot to say and was always going to say something. I fear he sees himself as the reincarnation of Brian Clough or another Ferguson.

Poyet's "comments" before the game accounted for nothing, but a few newspapers decided to sex them up with an inflammatory headline.

The only person responsible for this short lived false rivalry is Nigel Adkins, the one that refers to himself as "we".

He also concluded that if D&R had Lambert and Barnard they would be top six!! If that isn't a stupic comment, what is? So the likes of Lallana, Connolly, Fonte, Jaidhi, Do Prado make bugger all difference I suppose?

There is another thread on here were sensible BHA fans are praising Saints for the way they played today. Why can Poyet do that? Because he comes out with just as much sh!t as Adkins and every other Manager in the football league. Should Saints fans get hysterical about it and bring it up and every possible moment?
