CONFIRMED - Mattock and Reyes IN on loan

sorry about that - the stats page I went off only includes the initial contract not the extension. Have no doubt though that Woy (if he is still in the job) would be happy to lose him off the wage bill.

I think Mattock is out of contract at the end of the season, although there's something on his profile about an extra year option?

I think the reason Gus preferred Mattock to Tavernier who was waiting in the wings pending the deal being confirmed, is that Newcastle made it clear that Tavernier would not be available for sale on conclusion of the loan. Gus has a history of taking players who he subsequently signs and I think that is his clear preference as long as the loan works out. He has obviously made no secret that he would like to buy Jara and alll things being equal I would be surprised if it didn't happen.

With Vokes it sounds like an eventual fee in the region of £500K has been spoken about if not provisionally agreed.
