I'll ask this once, was anyone of you actually THERE to witness this attack?

For all you know she could've slipped onto the track and blamed the men, or if they got close she might've done a Ronaldo and dived off the platform so on the CCTV footage it looks like they made contact!

2 sides to every story...

About 30 witnesses who gave statements and a copper who chased after them according to the news.

Blimey.

Is it the careless edge creeping into society? ....... or has it already surged in like a tidal wave?

When people don't care about their human life, to the point that they can throw another person's life away just because they are affronted, that it makes them angry, I wonder why.
Is it computer games that depict a bravado for the killer, or gangs that get respect for the more heinous among them?

"they walk among us" sounds a dramatic warning, but it is actually true.

If you have to be in fear of who you stand next to at a bus-stop, or who you sit next to on a bus, then our world and our lives are gradually falling apart in quality.

When you joke about this sort of thing, you are disregarding of the warning - until it may come crashing through your own door.

By the seaside in West Somerset
Still it appears that some here take the view that being public spirited in any way is sticking your nose in to others' business. Sad if we live in a world where only self matters

Typical sensationalist headline, apart from the fact that she wasn't thrown onto a live rail, and wasn't seriously hurt, it's spot on.

And also the fact that she supposedly suffered burns but was'nt even electocuted.

Yeah that's bound to have been what happened! Risked killing herself on a live rail so that a couple of yoofs would get done for having a cigarette on the platform. Per-leeeeeze!

Smoking on a platform is banned as it can be semi enclosed and you are on railway property. At least the youngsters didn't pull a blade on her.:p

Either lock them up for life or hang them. It's the only way this sort of people will ever understand they can't just do whatever they want.

Rightly or wrongly, I completly agree with you...........

trouble is you can see it now after they get caught (hopefully!!) .....by the time the defence lawyers get invoved and the social servces, probation etc etc ......the 2 guys will be made out to be 2 unfortunates who didnt mean to do it and get away with some stupid community sentance............

I just hope I am wrong and complete badger is right..... time will tell .....no doubt

She was trying to dictate to people what to do when it was not her problem. Why couldn't she just move along and then not be effected by the smoke? I don't condone it but if had been my missus I would give her a slap for being a Wall-E.

Brilliant logic. People breaking the law, just ignore it and carry on.

So, theoretical situation; someone being robbed on the platform. Should you just move along so you're not affected by the robbery? Or what about if someone is being beaten up?

All she did was try to stop people from doing something which was illegal. And that's her problem?

So what your saying is that we should turn a blind eye to these chavs that go around breaking the law just in case they retaliate ???

I disagree !!!
