Community club of the year - any press picked this up?

As posted on the other thread, has this amazing award been picked up by any of the press?

Anyone seen any coverage, other than the Argus?

We need to promote this BIG TIME. Not let it wallow in the lower regions of NSC

Not even the Argus has given it any real coverage. Nor has the 'shame of Lewes DC' on the club website been rammed down their throats in the Sussex press. Club missing golden opportunities to score some points against Baker and his cronies.

I would expect something in the next couple of days to be honest. It's not going to come out immediatly and we do have someone at the argus who is 'onside' with all this.

They always bloody do. A release on the club's official website and nothing else. We really do seem to have a shite PR department at this club.

Couldn't The Seagulls Party take out a nice prominent advert in the Argus and whatever passes for a newspaper in Lewes (Sussex Express?) congratulating the club on the award.

I am not part of the PR department at the Club but I do know that a press release was sent yesterday afternoon to all the nationals and all local press and TV. If the Argus hasn't run with this then it says more about the Argus than the Club's PR Department.
