Yeah thats right we have no team spirit do we. Thats why weve won 7 and drawn 1 from our last 8. Seen us play lately have you?? Didnt think so. Were on the up and you know it.

When did I say in any of my posts that you had no team spirit? I was talking of the good spirit we had at Brighton, as proved by the games at Dagenham and Brentford. Do you care to explain how Saints are so far behind us then? Its obviously not because of the amazing team spirit you have. Is it the quality of management?, and the managerial change happened in September, loads of time for Adkins to turn things around, not a good excuse that. You should be walking this league with the amount of the money you have spent on your squad, and you know it. Your deluding yourself on crappy excuses onto why your not where we are.

I dont care. Promotion is all that matters. And if were so rich, surely our future in the Championship is pretty rosy wouldnt you think,

Shock, more arrogance from a Saints fan. So you would have taken 2nd rather than 1st at the start of the season would you? Didn't think so. And by the way you're talking, you are speaking like your already promoted, not over yet my friend. So go and tottle along and lose sleep over getting promoted, it will at least by all done for us by Saturday, if not tomorrow.

Such a shame the Stains look like they'll get automatic promotion. I was rather hoping for a defeat at the hands of Orient or Rochdale in the play offs for them.

They could do with another couple of seasons in L1 to learn some humility.

and how is that arrogant. Your the one harping on about us spending so much money. I was simply referring to that.

We all know in football how one minute everything is rosy and a few months down the road it can all fall apart for one reason or another. Your one of a small section of Albion fans who are showing way more arrogance than any Saints fans. Youre so wrapped up in the fact that your going to win this league and you will soon have your own ground for the first time in 15 years, you might just forget that the Championship is a lot tougher and you might not quite fair as well.

You have another thread going where half your fans seem to think that your going up again to the Prem :lolol: :lolol: Now thats arrogance

Every time I feel in any way inclined to ignore the stupidity of Cortese and the arrogance of Adkins and warm even slightly to your club, you turn up and ruin the moment.

"On the up................?"

Okay, how is saying you spend a lot of money being arrogant? Its a fact, most of the players you have in your squad have either been brought for a large sum of money (Lambert, Fonte,Barnard) and are also earning a high amount of money every week, way more than every League 1 club like us. You were the one being arrogant by saying 'the future for us is bright in the Championship' when you are not even close to getting promoted yet!

And surely if I was being arrogant, I would be saying that we will beat Dag & Red comfortably tomorrow and get promoted, but did I say that? No. And I have never suggested that we will finish high in the Championship next year, its a very tough league in which we will have to do a lot of adding too in the summer if we are to come in a high position.

You are on the Saints fans that are too bitter to congratulate Brighton on their success this year, most of my other Saints supporting mates have been complimentary on how well we have played this season and say we deserve to be where we are, and that we deserve to win the league.

Convenient to just ignore stains bad run early in the season, maybe we could just ignore the 6 weeks we didn't win a game just to balance it out

Have stains actually been above us at any point this season?

On the contrary. Over the years Brighton have been my second team. I was at Wembley in 91, Cardiff in 04, last game at Goldstone, P Vale away 01/02 etc etc.

So to be honest Brighton and Saints both getting automatic is a brilliant season for me, and whatever happens with us, I can look forward to strolling a couple of miles eastwards and watching a few games next season in a proper ground watching quality football in a better league.

If we finish 2nd theres no doubt it will be tinged with slight dissapointment for not winning the league, in fact considering the cash weve spent I would see that as a slight under achievement. However, promotion is all that matters at the end of the day. Just getting out of this league we feel we dont belong in is all we care about and who can blame us considering our history over the last 30 - 40 years and the crowds we pull in. It's not arrogance. Heck even if we only finish 4th and win the play offs im happy.

And actually I have congratulated the Albion and stated you are the best team in this league this year, just not on this thread - yet another anti Saints thread on NSC.

This seems to be the only thing you can hang on to, the fact that when we lose Poyet blah blah blah - and do you know what, it probably will happen next season BUT I am convinced Adkins will be gone before Poyet.

You're quite right in what you say, that Poyet is capable of taking on a club in the big-time. Adkins, on the other hand will never be in that position. He is a Division 2 [old money] manager through and through, and I'm pretty certain Cortese knows that.

As much as I admire our previous manager for what he did two years ago, Adkins is your Russell Slade.

Yes...I'll have a bet that Mr Soundbite is gone before Gus. He's there on false pretences....an over-promoted physio, who talks the talk but hasn't got the expertise to back it up. FFS Clarissa Dickson-Wright could have got Saints up this season!!!
Lets judge Messrs Poyet and Adkins in the Championship next season and see who has got the real skill.

Said it before and will say it again.

Congrats to Brighton for winning league 1. Totally deserved and i hope you do well in the championship.

If Saints can finish second and its in our hands now, i hope we both finish above the skates next season, who will be sandwiched between 2 clubs with decent grounds and bigger crowds.

Just gutted i can't get a ticket for the game at yours but can't wait for the Amex.

That will be quite something. Can we then go back to quite liking each other's Clubs ?

We wont lose tomorrow. We had Lallana on the bench on Saturday just in case we needed him, and we didnt. Win tomorrow then beat Rovers on Saturday and it's over for me, especially if Hudders slip up at Charlton.

Evening.

Ha ha ha ha, what an arrogant clown that Redneb is, think it was down to all the Hudders fans that made the 20 mile trip to Spotland tonight to bolster the Attendance. Seemed to work.

Your cockiness is at an all time high today. Well done.

What you seem to forget is that your success is down to unearthing a brilliant manager, and what you also forget is that he clearly has ambition and wants to manage at a much higher level. You've always got that hanging over you.

So lets see how cocky you are when that all goes wrong.
Great point, if only we had a shit manager and players things would be fine
