Yeah! That’s the typical stereotyping I was expecting. :tosser:

So Italian teams aren't renowned for cheating in exactly the way you described? If anyone's the :tosser: it's you for coming up with such a piss poor reason for wanting the Italians to win.

I want Liverpool to win, and always support English (and British) teams in Europe, even Man Utd.

As for cheating, the English teasm cheat far less IMO, than the likes of the Spanish, Portugese, Italians etc.
Blatantly not true is it?

Even if the notion that cheating is purely because of 'foreigners' is true, these teams are all packed full of Spanish, Portugese, and others, and managed by foreign coaches. But if you look at the few English players on show, many of them do dive. Joe Cole, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard. It might not get highlighted in the press the way it would if it was Ronaldo but they cheat too...

Personally I don't go in for this support the English clubs stuff, not anymore anyway. The Champions League club are only concerned with making money (to pay their leveraged American owners debts) for themselves, why would I want to support that?

I would rather an honest team wins it than a team that goes around diving everywhere, always asking for a penalty, and getting an Inter player sent off, just to improve their chances.

An English team may win it with 3/4 in the last 8, just hope it isn't Cheaterpool or Manc United

I'll get slated too but I agree with that 100%.

Chelsea and Arsenal, I don't mind, and want them to win.

Che?

That was my first post in this thread you TWAT!!! :jester:

Check who you quoted first time around. :dunce:

All I was saying is that because they've done it in the past doesn't mean that it is always the case. Hence the "typical stereotyping" I was referring to. Beside's, Inter have more Argentinians than Italians in their squad, just like Liverpool with Spanish to English. (May be a bit harsh this season, but they were last)

:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

The quicker more of us see that the better. Steven Gerrard is one of the worst divers in the Prem IMO.

It seems I am a :tosser: TWAT :jester: and a:dunce: so I guess it's ok for me to predict that the Italian side will be looking to cheat the ref more than Liverpool?

Is this game on terrestial btw?

And I'm sure you will be watching with a neutral and unprejudiced eye. ???

Besides, your dislike of Italians will not be proved or disproved by that, the only Italian in the Inter squad is likely to be the sub keeper.

I'll support the english team in Europe but that said the scousers should be in the competition in the firts place!!! only Manure should be in it from England as they are the CHAMPIONS!!

The whole competition is a farce created only to make the rich clubs richer ( a bit like the prem then )

The sooner it goes back to being the champions from each country in a straight 2 legged knock out format the better.

England have the biggest bunch of cheats on the planet.

When was the last time you saw and England game without diving or An England player trying to put pressure on a ref by screaming at him.

Frankly I could not give a hoot. Arsenal play great football but no anmes there mean jack to me. Same with the whole Premiership - rubbish from top top bottom with no identity to cities or towns any more.

I mean for christs sake Derby paying Lauren RObert 18k per week sums up everything about that league.

plastic crap. The Mcdonals of ENglish football. I'd rather watch Crowborough Athletic on a Wednesday night than pay any money to the Premier league.

Scudamore - wazzock.

Don't dislike Italians, just don't like the way Italian teams normally play, national and club. I know you are a big fan of Italian fooball ( well u were during the WC finals) but I reckon I can watch without being overtly biased. Can you?

After the final whistle I won't actually give a monkey's who won, but during the game I will be hoping for a Liverpool victory overall.

Why do Grimsby hate Liverpool?
R M Taylor only lives in Grimsby , he was born in the RSCH. There is a supporters coach for Liverpool fans which leaves Grimsby from the pub around the corner from where we live every time the mickey mousers are playing.
