other than a Champions League win and a League Cup, what have they won in the last 18 years, or so put it a bit differently in your lifetime

FA Cup 1992, 2001, 2006
League Cup 1995, 2001, 2003
UEFA Cup 2001
UEFA Super Cup 2001, 2005
Community Shield 1990, 2001, 2006

Other than that though....

Your judgement is just clouded by the fact your hate Liverpool so much, you're getting too predictable, get back to your northern match roll call and I hate steward threads.

I think you have summed up this quite well.

Couldn't give a crap.

I hope Chelsea and Liverpool don't make the final, though.
Arsenal don't matter at all as there's nothing English about them.

I would rather an honest team wins it than a team that goes around diving everywhere, always asking for a penalty, and getting a player sent off, just to improve their chances.

Just like an Italian team then?

Think I read somewhere that nobody in the Champions League has ever gone through after suffering a 2-0 first leg deficit. 14 have tried, all have failed.

........but Arsenal went to Anfield on the last day of the season knowing they'd have to win by 2 clear goals, and knowing Liverpool hadnt conceeded 2 goals in a game all season

Absolutely. Records are there to be broken.
If I were a betting man though, my money would not be on Inter overturning this. If anyone can bore a team into submission, its Liverpool.

I do think Liverpool will need to score though. I know history is against them, but a 3-0 win is not beyond Inter. If Liverpool score though, they'll have to get 4 which I think will be too big an ask.

Inter are a fantastic team and Liverpool will do well to shut them out, but Liverpool have this knack of performing in Europe, Rafa seems to get it spot on. I think it will be 0-0 tonight personally, but with Gerrard and Torres, Liverpool are always capable of nicking an away goal.

strangely sensible post;)

I love Torres. He's a great player of the game we know as football. He seems to have everything.

I hope Liverpool win.
