Wilkins is doing the best he can for a manager with no expiereince and with the squad we got..

.But you sir micky are different gravy..the week you brought in 6/7 players and set us on our way to glory I will never forget...Fans may moan about the whing situation where DK proberly whispered in your ear "how about 40k and a token on the pier" You said no...We understand.

Or you should never go back...well your proven @ this level..say no more!

Come Home sack wilkins if you want...bring baldie cork with you 2..get brooker back and lets get winning.

I would love it if Micky returned home. What are the chances of him being sacked by Cov? If he is sacked I honestly wouldnt rule out a move back here...maybe sounds a bit optimistic but why wouldn't he want to come back? Did well for us, is loved by the fans, has the oppurtunity to work with a good young bunch of players, dare I say it be the manager to lead us to falmer?

Is that fate calling?

as i've said on the other thread - the man knows which players are needed in these situations. He does have contacts, he does have respect in football. He bought in the nucleus of a team (Bobby Z aside) for less than 100k (carpenter, oatway, kuipers, cullip, brooker, watson, jones). These are EXACTLY the type of players we need now.

Would LOVE it if he came back, with Wilkins as his number 2

Calm down, calm down.
Just think - Adams failed latterly at Leicester and has failed pretty dismally at the Ricoh. Wilkins is a young manager learning the trade and most of our current players of promise are ones he brought up through the youth team. How many managers can you think of who have returned and succeeded for a second time (with less going for them moneywise) ? Mullery anyone ?
He would probably cost us money we can't afford as well.
McGhee for Coventry ?

Adams as director of football until the end of the season to help get players in and guide Wilkins?

I just can't see DK passing up on the chance to get Micky Adams back in (and spending the West Ham money on Micky's wages rather than players in the transfer window). The business reasons are far too compelling; he desperately needs to send out some good news with the season ticket renewal letters, and this comes up at exactly the right time. He also has to be seen to not just let us drift into League Two, the same was he just let us drift into League One. Micky Adams becoming available at exactly the right moment would be yet another example of Dick 'Lucky' Knight pulling a rabbit out of the the hat. Bring it ON! :clap2:

I would be happy if MA came back in some capacity, but whatever happens, Deano MUST stay. It's ludicrous to suggest that sacking Deano would be acceptable. He was asked to take over something of an impossible job and has performed admirably.

I would love to see Micky back here even though I am very happy with Wilkins in charge.

A MA and DW management team would be fantastic but would be very difficult to achieve without severely risking losing DW.

Besides, its never gonna happen as Micky left last time because of the lack of budget and the Falmer situation. The current situation is far more dire than it ever was back then so theres no way MA would work with no money, no stadium and a bunch of kids!
