agreed, but put it this way he's made better use of the Neptunes than 90% of black artists, plus only about 4 songs off the album are produced by them.

On a side note Neptunes new album Neptunes presents the clones is CRAP. Pharell has got lazy and he CAN't SING (case in point "frontin")

you think? I think his falsetto is wicked - curtis style!!

But nothing will ever beat Nigga Please, its got to be their (and ODB's) greatest moment.

All R n B is commercial shite and he fits into that category full on.

f***ing terrible music for the masses who listen to dire music where nothing happens.

I hate timberlake......only person I dislike more is robbie williams.

bit of a sweeping silly statement there!!

have u heard

D'angelo
Bilal
Jill Scott
Omar

all respected RnB artists.

no u haven't?? oh that's probably because you only listen to the stuff that's played on the radio???

I think Timberlake's got a good voice..I think Pharells singing fits the song but his forte is beat making.

I don't like any of that style of music, the type of beat, the style of singing and the general music is f***ing horrible.

No I haven't listened to those as I didn't like what was popular so I haven't invested any mor etime in listening to it.

I will only spend time listening to music if its worthy. and RnB can f*** off as far as I am concerned.

Which brings me back to the commercial shite comment, the artists you mentioned can't be that good if they aren't worthy of radio play above bland shit like timberlake and usher and whoever else you care to mention.

Funny poll. Why are we being asked vote on two styles of music that are poles apart?

What's next

Iron Maiden or Abba?

U2 or P Diddy??

The Cheeky Girls or A Picture Of My Arse???

Come to think of it..........

If you want a quality r'n'b album try to track down Musiqs debut. marvellous.

musiqs ok...and that's about it really, pretty harmless stuff.

He's no D'angelo (although he did try and ride of the back of his success) and he's no Maxwell.

but he's infinitely better than groups like 112.

..just a bit geeky to be a soul love god though methinks and he just hasn't got the vocal range to be an all time great.

D'angelos last album was multi platinum.

Stevie Wonder is a god. Love the old Motwon. Have this conversation with my mate. Who's better, Marvin Gaye or Smokey Robinson. Smokey wins hands down every time.

Did you know???

When Marvin lived in North london for a year in his cocaine blizzard in the 70s he used to go to highbury for every match. Imagine that, standing on the terrace next to Marvin, off his face. Wicked.

I was trying to bait him.

He says all RnB is shit and there are artists still making music like these all time greats now, what's the difference.

Maxwell and D'angelo are up there with green IMHO.
