Hat eto be picky but Coldplay are alondon band apart form Chris Martin who is from Devon. So not really northern are they

Being born and bred in Shoreham even someone from Steyning is classed as a northener. So on that criteria only Chris Martin might escape the 'northern' tag - depending upon which part of Devon he's from.
