Becuas Kuipers was injured, and McGhee never got a chance to see him play properly. As I already said.

I can think of 4 goals this season that have cost us points this year that Kuipers was at fault for or did badly for.

and what about the saves that have kept us in games?..I think he has won us more points than hes lost us this season

You could be talking about either Keeper there.

The facts are:

Whilst both have been at the club, Roberts has conceded 0.7 goals a game, Kuipers 1.5 (up to December).

When there has been a choice, McGhee has picked Roberts.

Either way, we'll have one of the better keepers in the league in goal, I just hope Roberts gets fit again so that we can have the choice.

Eh? I'm arguing that Kuipers is better anyway, nothing else.

Averages yes but....Different divisions and the fact that FDM has played three times more games?

That is very harsh aas Kuipers has played for us in Div 1/Championship and Roberts has only played in a divison lower, therefore Kuipers is the only keeper to play against on the whole better opposition than the team in front of him.

As for the stat attack, the record for the last two seasons nods in the Englishman’s favour – he has conceded 0.7 goals a game, against Kuipers’ ratio of 1.5 over the same period. Clearly FDM has played the majority of those games at a higher level, but this has in fact improved his figures – in division two, he picked the ball out of the net an average of twice a game – a factor McGhee may have taken into account when recalling Roberts last November.

The figures only run from the time when both have been at the club.

Also, Roberts played several games for us in Div1.
