If both Keepers are 100% fit then Roberts is the better keeper. There can be no argument in my opinion, BUT that you have to go with the keeper that is currently in the 1st team until he starts playing badly. At this moment if Ben was fit he shouldnt be in the 1st team due to Kuipers playing so well.

If i recall Kuipers kicking cost us a goal at Peterborough last year when he shanked it into touch and the scored from the throw.
They both make mistakes I think its just a case of Kuipers being glossed over sometimes.

Kuipers is a better shot-stopper.
Roberts commands the area better then Kuipers. Remember the goal we conceded to Gillingham (or was it Watford), where the ball came in, Reid left it and their player headed it in. I think Roberts would have either told Reid what to do, or deal with it.
I prefer Roberts, but Kuipers has improved his kicking more now, so there is less to choose between them now IMO.
However, to be able to choose between 2 good keepers is a very nice choice.

Yes you keep mentioning that, but Roberts makes more mistakes, and they are worse. and people are willing to forgive Kuipers because he is better than Roberts.kinkygerbil said:

I can remember as many Roberts mistakes as I can Kuipers and how many more games has Kuipers played for us...
If Roberts was so shit last year how come mcghee didnt drop him, and was going to start the season as number 1
I can think of 4 goals this season that have cost us points this year that Kuipers was at fault for or did badly for.
