The pickup time was changed after being advised by coach company so they 'wouldn't have to stop'

Thanks TB and ST....30 min driver break en route and arrived 1800hrs. Easy peasy.

Pretty much the same, left B Hill at 1pm, went via H Heath which added a bit of time, 30 min stop at Birchanger and in the ground about 6.30. Slow crawl around the ring road when we left, but once out of Norwich all good and back (sleeping most of the way) in the Hill about 2.30.

From Lewes ... 6 hours getting up there including 50 mins at service station on M11. Coming home no stop and driver floored it , unbelievably back in Lewes at 1.50am

I was switched to ST02 yesterday (thankfully). We changed drivers at Lancing so that the driver had enough hours. Left Lancing at 14:30 and were first in the coach park just before 5pm with no stop. Coming back, we were one of the last coaches to get out of the coach park. Spent ages in the queue to get back around to the ground and then our driver decided he had had enough of the queues so went back around to join the A47 towards Great Yarmouth and flew home from there, dropped off in Worthing at 2am.

From Twitter it sounds like Seagull Travel's first use of Woods coaches from Bognor may be their last as they were the ones causing issues with the unscheduled stops. ST were trying to do this without the need to a second driver but it was tight from some locations (remember the driver's hours are from when he leaves the depot to when he gets back). Sounds like everyone made kickoff though so, for a freebie, can't really complain.

Also worth noting that whenever things go wrong, ST don't try to duck out of the issue and always try to keep people informed of what is happening. Southern Rail could learn a few things about customer service from them.

ST18 had a few issues with directions but got back to the Amex about 02:30 which was earlier than I anticipated. Chickened out from walking back to Woodingdean tho...

It took just under two and half hours to get from Lancing to Norwich by coach?

I don't believe it given the slow traffic approaching the Dartford crossing and again getting into Norwich.

2.5 hours would indicate averaging just over 70mph with zero delays.
